While Australia may have been the best team in WC but I dont agree with Shastri that only team that could beat them was India. In fact if you look closely, the one team that came close to beating them was Pakistan. At one point Aussie were in real trouble against Pak , down 3 wickets and looking all vulnerable. But for dropped catches and mis-fields Pak would have shown them the doorRiaz had the batemen in all kinda of trouble and only luck saved Australia. If only Pak had more than 250 on board it would have been a diff. story. Compared to that our own performance against Aussie was pathetic
As simple as that don't go by his past performances . Yuvraj brought it for us . So no need to do paid journalism and potray him as a great player . He is a jack .......... and needs to be dropped . Tendulkar was a great player but he too never performed when India needed i.e in WC finals but he was much much better a player and a true servant of Indian cricket .Therefore start identifying players at school and college level and groom them rather that continuing with this team .This team wont get any better given that Australia had younger and rather inexperienced players compared to Indians who won it for them .

Virat Kohli's heart may be beating for India. But,it was beating more for Anushka than India during serious world cup knock out matches representing country and carrying hopes of 120 crore people.
Yes, BCCI should be blamed for allowing wives and girlfriends into the players' Hotel rooms for serious world cup knock out matches as if league matches are more important than knock out.Ravi Shastri should be blamed for recommending it and players like Virat Kohli for treating world cup knock out matches as IPL matches. It's true that commitment and seriousness was missing.
you reserve your worst for WC knock outs. ever since 2011 wc QF, you have been failing in knockouts. that is 5 times. you are nothing but overhyped batsman. who only thrives if there is dropped catch or if there is no pressure of knockouts.
ALL NONSENCE. HIS HEART IS ONLY IN MUMBAI TO BECOME A HERO EVEN FOR THAT HE IS NOT FIT. HE HAS NO ONTEREST FOR THR NATION HE SHOULD BE OUT OF TEAM FOR ONE YR.
