Australia knock defending champs India out of World Cup
by jayaram putisari on Mar 26, 2015 06:46 PM

There is no room for much complaints. India had a dream run. We can be proud of the fact that only a conspicuously superior team has won against us. On our day we could do much better. Unfortunately we always tried to rely on individual glamour and performance than performance as a team. Anyway good luck for the team for future matches. It has been a great tournament and I feel the most deserving two teams have come into the finals. Also in general those who missed out this time have performed well too.

Everyone has wives and girl friend in India, but no one comes like this in world cup.. Also except for Pakistan game where did you play well Virat. Sure you are no match to be compared to Tendulkar. You are too arrogant.

Just like India is not able to reduce its poverty and population, BCCI is not ready to produce fast pitches in India but belter for IPL tournmanents.

Today Yuvraj, Ganbhir and Sehwag.. khush to bohot hoge aap.. Sahi hai.. no point in taking useless rahane and that jadeja.. yuvraj was much better option.. and why binny was taken

Well done australia
by Sameer Shaikh on Mar 26, 2015 06:37 PM

Well done Australia for showing the BCCI boys its real place.

Anushka/Virat please find some place like Maldivies for honeymoon than a tournament like World cup. You are sure distraction.

Also India was in easy group not playing England, Australia and New Zealand, else it would have knocked in quarter final itself. South Africa were chokers and Pak mental block in world cup.

it happens,no one can say that India were not tested. South Africa is also equally talented and India beat them comfortably. Australia also got rattled by New Zealand.
Almost everybody performed for India in the previous matches. All of a sudden, all the key bowlers and batsmen failed to deliver.Between equal teams,ODI can be anybody's match. It just didn't work today.

I hope New Zealand performs well and wins the final. They deserve it more than anybody.

All of a sudden, all the key bowlers and batsmen failed to deliver? This is the most stupid excuse I have seen since last drubbing of Dhoni.

Suddenly all the bowlers failed. And suddenly all the batsmen failed.
Sims may call that as choking. Agreed?

Indian players are not like South Africans
by sanjay kulkarni on Mar 26, 2015 06:13 PM  | Hide replies

Till the tournament's semifinal match, it seems India didnt meet the qualified opponent at all who were better in all the sections of the cricket.
We indians are day dreamers.
Even before quarter finals, all the TV channels were in celebration mood as if we won the cup. All the news papers were showing many things about the players. BCCI allowed WAGS to stay with the cricketers.
Guys, we have not reached final or semi-final yet and you started celebrating as if we won the cup?

Look at New Zealand vs. South Africa match. Even though having 293 on board, SA players didnt relax. They tried all the ve attempts to stop NZ from reaching finals.
At the same time, look at NZ team. They are simply mad as for the cup as this is life time opportunity for them.
Till 7-8th batsman, every other strong team has support for good batting order.
Even in today, Micheal Johnson played strokes like regular batsman & we dont have any1 after no. 6
We are day dreamers & loose site when someone starts applauding us. This match was life time opportunity for Shikhar, Rohit, Raina, Ajinkya and specially to Virat. Dhoni saved his name from getting affected by having the 65 runs knock, but what other players have to say about their hurry or bad choices of shots?
Didnt they go through such scenarios earlier?
One match lost = book return tickets, didnt you guys know about it?
Stop acting like models on the TV & do some real cricket and that too dont show the big dreams to us when you cant
