It is not the team, it is the selection board team that needs to be revamped. First of all Vikram Rathore,Saba Karim, Rajinder Singh Hans all these were small timers who played a couple of matches here and there.
Sandeep Patil & Roger Binny is OK as they are World Cuppers and have played on all grounds of cricket playing countries and are amply experienced.
We needed to bring in Javagal Srinath, Saurav Ganguly, Anil Kumble.

Yes PKB you are right, these foolish Selectors Don't want that world cup should stay in India by leaving Yuvi Sehwag Out
One is aware that team selection exercise in India is a tough job. So, one expects the selectors to do the best they can under the circumstances, meaning players who have shown consistency while playing, particularly against quality teams. Here one could list players like Uthappa, Manish Pandey, Naman Ojha, Murali Vijay and so on. Past performances need not be the criteria for selection if these players have not been scoring runs. Here one could list Gambhir, Harbhajan, Yuvaraj and so on. (Yuvaraj's three centuries have not come against quality teams!). It is here that one finds it hard to accept players like Binny, Dhavan and Rayudu in the list of 15. Knowing Roger Binny for the gentleman that he is, he would certainly recuse himself while discussing the case of his son. But opinion-makers like Gavaskar harp repeatedly for the inclusion of Binny that selectors find it hard to ignore. In my opinion, Binny, Rayudu and Shikhar Dhavan should have been ignored and Uthappa, Ojha and Pandey should have been included. These three players did extremely well in the recently organised tour of India-A to Australia.
Sanju Samson would have been a better choice because he consistently scores runs and can also keep wickets. Rohit is an absolute flop; not even consistent on flat wickets.. he may be good for street club cricket... similarly, our bowlers must be taught to stick to basics and bowl accordingly... let us not given easy runs and when runs are dried up, the batsmen themselves would take risk and get out... I do not know what our bowling/batting/fielding coaches are doing ? are they paid for just being mere spectators ? or are our players not listening to coach / that amounts to indiscipline... if that is the case, such teams are never going to do anything better.... so, in such an event, you select anyone but the result would be same....

Rohit Sharma is much better than Sanju Samson, but Yuvraj is really unfortunate not to have in squad. RIP : BCCI
Binny, yadav and aaron does not deserve their place. yadav and aaron are so brutally beaten in tests what will be there for them in one days. Binny should not be there as he is not a performer instead out of previous batch, yourav now deserves his place. we need not only fast bowlers but their accuracy is also required, which we are not producing.
