With this team, India will not even qualify for Super 8 Level. WC 2015 is a dream.Players' morale is all time low, thanks to IPL betting scams, dhoni's conflict of interest issue, etc . More over, in Australia, india will be a flop.
Lack of experience of playing in Australian & New zealand Conditions is a big concern with this team. You could give Axar patel, Binny and Raidu a chance in all other tournaments but not in World Cup.till they perform and get some experience! It is huge Risk. With this team there is very little pressure taking capability. Do we have some really experienced people to play under Real pressure while defending small scores or while chasing high targets? Not really! Gambhir and Yuvi in place of Raidu and Axar patel should have been playing. Please do not expect Raina , Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan to do well anywhere outside Subcontinent!
All selections except that of Axar Patel is OK. He could always be a cover for Jadeja officially where replacements can be sought. Also both Jadeja or Axar cannot play together. Hence it would have been better if Mohit Sharma could have been selected.
Dhoni is selfish person. He has made the stunt by declaring retirement in TEST CRICKET & now he is putting pressure on selector that he want his team. With this he has put YUVRAJ most committed batsman outside. YUVRAJ is required in this team as an experience man. This team will not reach even super eight also.
