truth said by wrong man

Its sure that after reading this,India will start critising botham or start making fun of him which is not unfair as he deserves that..but what he said is not wrong...Its been proved that IPL is destroyer of Indian cricket which we will never accept as we in India we dont have any other sport to cheer and enjoy on such a grand scale...Due to IPL, India is almost is zero in test cricket , better in ODIs but that too on flat tracks or againest ordinary sides like England and a big power in meaningless format of T20...T20 format will never produce bowlers like Wasim, Donald or Pollock so batsmen emerging for this format will be always get exposed whenever they face quality bowling which regularly happens with our heros like Raina, Dhoni or Dhawan....realistically we dont have any chance to regain the world cup but with D/L factor i.e. Dhoni luck factor, anything is possible...

He should be invited in IPL tournament as a commentator to earn few bucks at this age. Automatically his comment would be opposite.

Projecting IPL as a villain

Mr Botham might like to think if the complaint is actually about commercialization of cricket(or sports in general) and that money beyond limits will usher in greediness and hence corruptive tendencies.

We are living in a highly commercial world where everything is measured in terms of money and nobler values take a back seat. We see this has meant many social disadvantages with long term damages. Issues are really deeper and will need major concerted convictiopn and effort.

by dineshhassija on Sep 05, 2014 04:46 AM

every additional activity has its own merits and demerits... so idea of IPL is not that bad but its rules could be just like marrying or accompany a girl friend when on official duty...

just answer this one
by on Sep 05, 2014 01:12 AM

would you have said no to being in an IPL team if you were playing today? your answer would be NO. So dont make comments that, have no value. A lot of talent playing in this Indian team has horned skills in IPL. Take a PILL and forget IPL.
