He has played for 12 years
by SHIRISH SHIROOR on Nov 02, 2014 01:10 PM

He is in the Indian Team right from the age of 19. At 32 after his illness he has gone down. He has played for 12 years now. He should settle down now. There are many cricketers who are sidelined instead of pursuing them.

Lord Krishna told Arjuna in the great epic Srimad Bhagavad Gita that death is certain to a fellow who is born and rebirth is certain to a fellow who is dead.

Who knows, his cricket career might have come to an end in his present birth but he is sure to make it again in his next birth.

Best of Luck Yuvi. I loved the way you punished that English Bowler with six sixes in the same over and pursed a crore from BCCI.

Do not lost heart. There are others also waiting to step into your shoes. Give them also a chance.

Yuvraj deserves a chance
by PRAVEEN SONI on Oct 31, 2014 11:43 PM

Yuvraj was the hero of our world cup win in 2011 & one cannot imagine a world cup team in australia/nz without him. He is one of the greatest odi players who has proved his worth to the indian team time & again. It is sad to see the treatment meted out to such a great player without whose heroics, it would have been absolutely impossible for india to even enter the quarter finals, leave alone win the world cup. He deserves another chance

Youvraj any day better than ravindra jadega / ambati rayudu etc. He deserves a look into indian side considering his experience and heriocs against australian side. He will definitely come good in australia. Hope better sense prevail on the selectors.

It is this self realisation which if earlier done at his prime(then called introspection)which could have made a very good career an emphatic one.Though not good at the moment,he could still give some more memorable highs for the team if selected and he will have to do us proud if played, with all his experience.Best of Luck.
