You are real hero
by vijay kumar on Oct 30, 2014 09:24 AM

Yuvi, do not get disheartened. You have done more than enough for our country. And it is more than what some people achieved playing for 25 yrs. We salute you

He deserves one more go @ world cup
by kalyan karpurapu on Oct 30, 2014 09:13 AM

Without him we would not had two world cups (T20 & ODI) so whats wrong in giving......do not show his form as excuse he is fighter........form is temporary.......thats what he has shown in his last world cup......he was not in form but he was selected and he won you world cup...........its useless to give numerous chances to people who have not won matches single handedly (jadeja) at domestic level.....

Yuvi's contrinution to India's top ranking in shorter versions of the game is great. He was the perfect allrounder India had after Ravi shastri.Jadeja has not reached that position as yet and there is no other decent replacementfor Yuvraj Singh.

Wish you good luck, and strength of spirit in case of bad luck
by Chaitanya on Oct 30, 2014 01:03 AM

Sincere wishes to you, Yuvraj, that you will regain your form and reclaim your place in the Indian team.

His career playing for India has been short, but boy, was it ROCKING or what!

Even now, when I watch some Yuvi videos on youtube, I always feel sad. On some occasions, he has done magical things with the bat, one some occasions, with his amazing catches and stops while fielding, and on some occasions match-winning spells of bowling.

I also wish that you may find the inner strength to deal with not getting selected again, just in case that's what is in store.

It's bad

BCCI has never shown any credibility to its senior players. If we don't go far back in history and just look at the previous team... like of Dravid, Laxman, Ganguli all gone without any formal see off (as what Aus or other teams do for their great players). Even Tendulkar had to retire from One-day all of a sudden while BCCI (or its chief) relied on a captain who was busy ruining the team. Of recent, players like Sehwag, Gambhir, Yuvraj, Harbhajan and some others as well all shown out of the team, while likes of useless Shikhar Dhawan, raidu, jadeja, and company are constantly in the team in spite of shameless appearances (except on a few occasions on dead wickets) are still in the team. We all remember how useless ashwin and ishant were during tours of SA and NZ and even in England (except for one match where English batsmen threw away their wicket to mediocre bowling of Ishant) still they are part of the team.

Very well said sir,
Also include the useless captain, who hasn't done in the last seven years except in final game. He very tactfully, is encashing the other players' performances.

Get your facts right bro, ishant was the highest wicket taker in the nz series. regarding seniors, they were persisted for their experience in england, australia which India lost 8-0. Only after that they were eased out. Yuvi is out bcos, ever since his illness, he has not been consistent. Who can forget the T20 final earlier in the year. So, its good to take sides, last 3 years records must also be considered.

Forget every average player. People like rohit rayddus who do nothing play for India . As someone said rightly so even a 60% yuvraj is better bet than others.

I agree with you. Yuvraj can still play some good innings if included this world cup. Hope we can see him again lead India to a world cup victory.

A 100% Yuvraj spoiled the T20 WC final.
So a 60% Yuvraj is no good NOW! Probably when he was in form that statement might have been true.
Now we need a 160% Yuvraj just to be in the team, forget giving amazing performances.
