Cricket was in ICU
by Vasant Deshpande on Mar 28, 2014 08:10 AM  | Hide replies

With the appointment of Shri Gavaskar there is now hope that all problems in BCCI will be solved. Person who played crickets should be at the helm of such body and not a politician or industrialist who never played a cricket causing damage to criket world.

have no doubt. It is thugs who are greedy to take over BCCI ACTING AS SAINTS. After gavaskar name for BCCI post. How about if we propose the name of Tendulkar to divide the greedy ranks. It is not cricket anymore. It is cheap mudslinging to gain control of BCCi using SC Or bookies or whatever means. Is advocate salve same guy that mmolested airhostess
-Guess those gunning for Srinivasan in media, u are frustrated Bindra or U are Vindoo the bookie of cartel or kapil dev or bedi..all offering carrots to gavaskar to break the ranks through Supreme Court. Any carrots left for tendulkar????

now SC following the cartel is divisive as well !!! It is dividing the ranks against srinivasan by those in rush for BCCI post. Or, Gavaskar is trying to size up SC that is playing from behind the scene for bjp-congress cartel. All this corruption network with Dara Singh son (Vindoo) have connection with those who wanted to tarnish Srinivasan and even Dhoni to grab India XI and BCCI. Even Z-tv was involved in it. Bindra/etc who says BCCI is gutters tried to control indian cricket team and the BCCI directly on behest of bjp-congress kickback cartel but failed. So they tried SC to pass judgment against Srinivasan after all corruption allegations and traps has failed

If not Gavaskar it can be Kapil Dev or for that matter any player who has controbuted to Indian cricket. Read SC suggestion carefully. They have said it can be Gavasker or any one like him.
More over it seems you want Sharad Pawar instead of Gavaskar

A good cricketer need not be a good administrator. Example: A good (theoretical) economist has been a disastrous PM!

Indian Cricket is unnecessary stigmatized..and Ind players will be looked upon by other nation palyers...Hope to see better change Good work SC..Continuing Srini would serve no good to BCCI or ICC either..Hope the cleaning starts unbiased way. If he comes clean he should again get a chance but it seems difficult not since Son in law goofed up..

Spotless... Ha Ha!!!!!
More than a decade ago, investigating agencies had unearthed 70 lacs of unaccounted money from Gavaskar's Bombay Jimkhana locker. He was director of a fictitious sports shoe manufacturing company which vanished duping crores of investor's money.

Gupta or whatsoever your real name is..First of all It was not investigating agency ..it was gyms management who were tryign to vacate soem unused lockers..second it was not 70 lacs ...but $2000 (around 70 thousands then)...third there was never any show compnay reference to him..but Sunny is enterprenur and has businesses since last 3-4 decades in partnerships, nothign wrong about that. USe RTI get info and sue him if you think you are right or start writign fiction stories..you will make some money atleast..Good luck

Conflict of interests
by bappaditya gupta on Mar 27, 2014 10:00 PM  | Hide replies

Mr. Gavaskar has to forego his television intersts, his contract as BCCI commentator & his association with IMG ( who are the franchise of Pujara, Tewari & other cricketers ) before taking up the offer.

One rule for SMG and another for Srini!! And a third one for SC which has done nothing to deliver justice for tens of thousands of cases are pending for years on end. First let them put their house in order.
