Why nobody is talking abt pujara after NZ tour? He did not perform well. I think his PR should give an explaination for it, since ppl were shouting to include him in team.

Players have bad series but we need to be fair to everybody, after 1 bad match in SA Ashwin was dropped from playing 11 which was unfair and now ppl are talking abt dropping Vijay after one bad series. There are players in te team who had many bad series but nobody said anything...

Das, plz refrain from using bad words. Comment like an educated Adult. Criticism is good but bad-mouthing is not.
(contd.)Again and again the team failed to capitalize on advantages gained ! Why couldn’t the bowlers get those crucial breakthroughs repeatedly ? Why couldn’t the batters apply themselves adequately to push the marginal extra needed to scale the last miles towards win ? Is Rohit Sharma dependable at all and fit for Test matches ? Why Pujara looked so completely out of sorts throughout ? Were Dhoni and Jadeja expected to bat like in T20 game? Why Dhoni chooses to bowl first in a Test match ? Lacking confidence on the openers ? Why Ishant Sharma’s bowling wildly fluctuates between two extremes ? Why Md Shami is so erratic with his line from wide of off-stump to straying on the legs in every over ? Why the bowlers are not bowling to the field set ? Is the captain really in control of things ? What is going to be the strategy on the spin attacks combination ? In one dayers why were the playing XI changes so irrational ? Are the prospective youngsters being adequately prepared or the team management planning to turn to old discards for future foreign tours which is certain to be step backwards? Why Stuart Binny played just one over in the entire series ? The coach and team management has to answer all these questions.

Frankly there is not much to crow about individual performances of India cricketers in the recent NZ series although the ratings given in the column does look quite objective. However it must be said that even few good looking performances of Kohli,Dhawan etc. were not good enough viewed in the context of usefulness of the team as a whole to win. Indian performance was marked by both batting and bowling failures. While the bowling weaknesses were never in doubt but much better batting performances were expected from the young but talented Indian batting side. The most disappointing aspect was the downward slide of the batting from SA tour to the NZ tour.It is simply unexplainable for a side who batted much better against a much stronger and the best bowling side in SA the same batting line up to go down listlessly in NZ away against a relatively much weaker bowling side! Did everybody give their best ? That is why the team management must analyse the downward slide from SA to NZ so that proper course correction can be applied.
People talk about a lot on players [both batsman & bowlers], Request you to understand a few things first. Its the fact that ,We have problem with both batting and bowling [especially when its outside Sub-continent] needs to be addressed first. The problems are , 1. No batsman able to score consistently on bouncy/ swinging tracks outside India. Its the pblm with batsman's technique. Bring Dravid / Laxman / Sachin as Full time Batting coach to address this . 2.Fast Bowlers don't have the technique to bowl with Kokabaura ball, They dont bowl consistent length [ Bring them to MRF Pace foundation and have a stint under McGrath to get themselves trained. For best line and length , you cannot deny McGrath was one among the best. For Tests , bring Dhoni out of Captaincy , let some fresh guy like Kohli take over.Put Bouncy tracks for national Tournaments, Allow Domestic players to get used to Kokabaura ball in Domestic tournaments.Bring IPL as a window where domestic players use to learn techniques and tips from international players. Keep Rotation policy in place so that players will be fresh with mind and body.If possible try to maintain different teams for ODI T20 and Test matches.Allow people to learn on their mistake. Bring Domestic players get a chance to work in international coaches so that they will understand their mistakes and try to work on them. Bring players from U19 directly to ODI team for less important tours ourside sub continent. Bring kumble as Spin Bowling coac
