Dear first u must understand why cricket..??Dhoni proved why Sreelaka and pak, even Bangladesh can win "world cup", without any skill earning billions, overseas his luck factor not working but he can kick out even Sachin?? like world ATP ranking 1200 kicking out roger Federer..that is criket.. thus why this sports(or something else) most popular in Indian sub continental,

Well done croonies, they have ensured no alternatives like Sehwag,Gambhir by smoking them out. I agree with current form they do not deserve but they are human beings please put your selves in their shoes....when captain does not show confidence through actions definitely form will get effected.

Srini is no longer with BCCI. To blame him still for the problems is like blaming the ghost of Macaulay for all current problems of India. Gambhir was given another chance, and he came a cropper. It seems you comment even without knowing or watching whats going on...

he he he i can help myself but laugh at your ignorance he is head of ICC - Hope you remember Srini stepped down from BCCI and probe on spot fixing happenned and gave clean chit to his SON in LAW which supreme court ruled out - Go check your basics before commenting on these forums
Who is mike brearely to comment about Dhoni. Did he comment on his own captain, Cook when we were one-up in this series. We should ignore such people and find out who is undermining Dhoni out of jealousy!

There is no point discussing who is or was Mike Brearly. The question only is whether what he said is rite or not...
I have been following his performance closely for last four yrs and I must say that he is the worst ever Captain for India. He is making Azharuddin looks better. And Dhoni's WK has always been average but hyped up..
I still can't believe that noone in India can push this incompetent man out of the captaincy.. What a shame on the nation..

He is a good captain, but his performance depends on the team. Our top batting order has very good batsmen, but have failed very badly. This is not the captain's responsibility. What was the useless batting coach- dravid doing? Sack him first!

I dont know how you rate him a good captain. He does not have any strategy, only over by over tactics. He only remains a good odi captain. His field placings in tests are ordinary to say the least...

those are not tactics just gambling he does in cricket, trying to do un expected....so long as luck favours you win otherwise you loose
did anybodys praise duncan when we won the 2nd test so why blame him now i dont think our super rich players will ever listen to advice all that they are interested is a lucrative ractipl cont
i wonder why didnt the indian greats like gavaskar,shastri,kapil didnt notice the fact that dhoni is not fit for test as said by Brearley. Dhoni is been playing test matches since last 8 years,why nobody noticed this in india.India has suffered due to this,we have been loosing so many test matches at home and out side home.

I am sure they all noticed it but they are Indian living in India. They all want to be politically correct and do not want to get singled out, regarless how badly the Country suffers...a typical Indian attitude.
Also, someone like Shastri, a top grade con artist, known to change the color as it fits to his personal advantage
