Agree, Captain is as good as his team
by Rajneesh Ranjan on Aug 22, 2014 12:05 PM

Imagine if your batsmen don't get runs you are bound to take measures which may look wiered. I don't think Dhoni did bad with captaincy as well.
I remember that all were praising him till the end of second test. It cannot be like all wins on team and losses on captain. If players don't play, captain is bound to take risks and do faults as well. India had 4 no players in form of Gambhir, Kohli, Pujara, Binny. How can a captain win with 7 players against a formidable opponent like Enland and that too in their home.

Indians must now learn to encourage other sports also
by on Aug 22, 2014 11:54 AM

Indians must now learn to think other than cricket also...When cricket will face competition in terms of populality with other sports, sportsmen performance will go up..These people will again become hero when they will beat some team in the rustic spin pitches in India..

Virat big mistake
by satya saka on Aug 22, 2014 11:42 AM

Virat has made a blunder by making Anushka his girl friend. Now has no place to go and soon he may loose his place in team India. Decide Anushka or tem India. the choice is only one

Dhoni

He is one of India's best captain. give him freedom to control the team, he will do wonders. don't forgt he is under IPL scam tension. Srinivasan and his son in law should come clean and clear Dhoni. only then he will perform better.
Virat was lured by the calendar girls and poor Virat lost his captaincy and form for ever.
The shadow of Anushka will torment you for ever

Dhoni's captaincy.
by VENKATESWARAN VISWANATHAN on Aug 22, 2014 11:26 AM

A captain can be only as good as his team. Why blame MSD. In fact he is the only player with more number runs in the concluded tour. The performance of other players need to be scrutinised. After some reasonably good performance in the first 2 tests why did the performance go from bad to worst in the remaining 3 tests. This really needs to be investigated. The Anderson - Jadeja incident occurred during the 2nd test and our board handled it in a very casual manner. On what basis was Jadeja found guilty in the first enquiry and fined and subsequently the ruling was overturned on appeal. How can the English cricket board say Video footings are not available. The performance after this is also the impact of the boards handling of the incident. If the players have deliberately performed badly then all of them concerned need to be reprimanded and suitable action should be taken against them. On the other side we should remember that our players are playing for the country and any insult to them is an insult to the country. What protection have we given them.

Dhoni

There is nobody else now to lead the team other than Dhoni. Kohli missed the bus, by concentrating elsewhere while on England tour.

Solutions for Indian Cricket Team's misery
by Krishna reddy on Aug 20, 2014 10:46 AM  | Hide replies

Following things can be done to solve indian team's misery.
1)Reschedule the West Indies tour to later date
2) Bring Zimbabwe and here the curator should prepare green top and bouncy pitches.
3)If Indian Cricket team wins then can bring another team like ireland, bangladesh, westindies, canada in the ascending order of potent attacks.
4) if Indian's lose then we can stop playing cricket altogether and start playing kabbadi where we excel and bcci can sponsor womens cricket, and other sports which neeeds funds badly. In kabbadi there will be no extra pressure and it will be easier to adopt to foregin conditions easily.
5) In england, India will lose badly in both odi and 20-20 series and return home empty handed. But whatever the case don't remove dhoni he is the only player who is playing for the country.

hehehehhe,Its cosmetic change, remove Dhoni which is permanant solution..that will lead to unbaised unpartial selection for REAL TEST players from Ranji and not IPL or CSK.

KR has very good proposal. Play Test with novices only, this way all paper tigers can score heavily- finally play IPL in home city.

Dhoni is the best
by saju john on Aug 20, 2014 10:07 AM  | Hide replies

Currently Dhoni is the only one who can lead our team. But the team as a whole matters a lot.
Maybe to a certain extent physically they might tired. They need to take some relaxation.
This is not the time to critise our captain, but need to give our mental support so that they can strive harder.

hehehehe, while playing no one physical tired or so. Its all drama, players are of IPL generation not capable of playing TEST matches. After all big 4 retired (Sachin,Rahul,Viru,Kumble) India hardly winning matches. And dhoni reling on his CSK IPL friends only instead of real talnted ranji TEST players.

Yeah, Dhoni is the best,if giving excuses after every Indian defeat is a criteria for captaincy of Indian team. He is good in blaming everyone else and never take personal or collective responsibility.
