The failure of the team is in batting...and Rahul Dravid was the consultant.Look and behold how well he did his job. The point I am making is that starting from Srinivasan down to Dhoni and his mates; it is all commercial. It is all related with sponsor ships and the money they can milk out of Indians. The blame will go on younger cricketers who will be blamed and pointed fingers at. The Gavaskars, Shastris and Dhonis of the world will be presented whiter than white. You have to ask, is it not true that Indian teams under Kohli, Raina and recently under Robin Uttapa have performed so much better than under Dhoni. We have seen his silly bowling strategies and field placements. It is difficult to imagine how any one can be worse than him. Do not forget it was him who supported last few years of under performance from Ganguly,Tendulkar, Laxaman and Rahul.They will all now support him.It is their turn to do favour to him. These big names have to stick together to the detriment of Indian cricket.
May be..RJS has to be a psychologist/psychiatrist of the sort!!!. Get the intent from the players and then if he can turn around then the decision will end up as Good else the same old story will continue..All the Best RJS
Dravid would have been better option.because he is mentally and technically strong and suitable wave length with many of current players..he has gr8 respect towards test cricket.....atleast appoint DRAVID as Batting consultant for Australia test series.
It's such a stupid move. He has been a commentator and what teams has he manged in the last three years.mas such the indian team will do a lt better in the ODIs than the tests.
