What a shame. I do remember Mr Shastri was thrown out of Indian team for playing against team. He is the one who batted maiden slog over few decades back. that time people attacked his house also.

BCCI is what? Gavaskar, Shastri and goofs like Srikanth and no one else.
These goofs will never retire from any part of Indian cricket and by being buckets to people like Sreenivasan and gang of loots, will try to stay as long as they are alive.
haaaaaaaaaaaaaa a person who spoils his career with his off filed indicipline behaviour and affairs directs bunch of losers. he will have direct how catch bollywoon heroines and leave them after some time.
The man who was directed over the ropes all around by Imran? Apart from winning the Audi & blabbering on the TV presentation ceremonies, what is his worthy contribution? Hitting a bowler, Tilak Raj for consecutive sixes in an over at the Ranji?

Sastri is a henchmen of Srini. From this appointment you can make out still Srini is controlling BCCI.
These people gave their heart and soul to cricket. Kohli is a gifted but wasted cricketer. None have the commitment that Scahin or Laxam Or Dravid has. Zaahher was a wonderful bowler, unfortunate no swing bowler in Indian team. It would be nice if atleast The bowlers did better. what a shame.
