In postmortem we use if, but etc.though not denied Yuvraj failed. Having understood that he cannot perform, he could have attempted for some rash shots. Even after that, if Raina/Dhoni or Jadeja failed subsequently the blame is again going agst him only, as settled batsmen played for rash shots etc. Had it clicked he would have been the hero of the match. People are perverse tounged

Stop living in the Past. This is the problem wih Indians. In todays standard he won't make the top 20 players in Ranji.
I understand that Yuvraj should be given a little lenience after his comeback but, shouldn't have experimented at the finals. If Shikhar was replaced after 2 bad games why not Yuvraj?
It is quite true that Yuvi single handedly won the 2007 World cup but that does mean he has any right to down India by his dismal performance. He should gone for big shot and in that process had he been out there was no harm in it as lots of batsman were there after him who could have sailed the innings to a respectable score. The way he had batted in the last night as if he was trying to not to get out he had forgotten the fact that it was the only of 20 overs match. At the non striker end Kohli was getting frustrated seeing his batting. He has played with the sentiment of 120 crores Indian. Icon cricketer like Tendulkar should not support Yuvi for his misdeed in the last night.
There is absolutely no doubt that Yuvraj SIngh is the match winner in the past but recently he has not been the same player as of before. Just becuase he has won matches and series for India , doesnt mean he should be playing at every match. On SUnday's when there were Dhoni, Jadeja, Raina in the line up why was Yuvraj sent to play. He could not deliver and in fact this will be set back in his career, in his mind. He himself should hv told team mgmt that he would play if reqd may be 5 or 6 down wickets. Of course he is not the only player responsible for our loss. It was our poor fielding and of course full marks to Sri Lanka. I feel Yuvraj should be rested and should play on state level till he gets his confidence back. After he is playing for the country and country comes first !
Yuvi is briliant batsman and he dont need to prove anything.. He delivered many times for India just lacking bit self confidence now. Its because of him India have won 2 world cups. He need support from us... I think he still has ability to serve for country. Its difficult for any batsman to feel his shoes...
We love you Yuvi... Dont worry play naturally & freely...
it was all dhoni decision that went wrong. 1. sending UV instead of Raina isedas we noticed in all match that UV is not in got touch. 2. Mohit sharma insted of shami. 3. after UV got out raina could be better but he himself walked out to bat.
