Sachin is no doubt one of the greatest cricketer of the world. Though personally I feel Sunil Gawaskar was even better cricketer. But due to his crookedness people do not love him. Compare to other cricketers sachin is more humble no doubt despite his immense popularity. But popularity should not be a criteria for BR. If popularity is a criteria, Modi, Shahrukh, Amitav deserve BR before him; in that case no scientist will get BR. Sachin does a lot of good job, but he is very much opportunist. That's why he joined Congress. Everybody forget, as per Azharuddin (who is also a congress leader now), there were 17 match fixing broker in sachin's marriage ceremony, but he was not questioned due to political pressure. It is true there are hundreds of personalities who deserve BR before sachin. What is shameful how can congress give BR to a sitting congress MP. But nothing surprise me as because it is a regime of puppet.
Yet another Jolly LLB inspired no case Lawyer tried his best to grab Publicity. With due respect to Dhyanchand, I want to ask just one qestion, the rule for Bharat Ratna was changed mainly to include Sachin and that was also just 1 or 2 years before. Why these people didn't asked Bharat Ratna for DhyanChand in these 60 Years?
cheap comments like cricketers are only playing for money and their service is not considered as Service to Nation and their efforts to Put India's name in top in their field is nothing, then I won't be able to say, Azhar, Jadeja and Mongia were culprits.
Australian Govt honored sachin with their one of the Prestige Award, UK common House spent time to congragulate sachin for his achievments. what our people have problem to accept somebody's success and greatness.

As u said, the rule for Bharat Ratna was changed mainly to include Sachin.. this is the height of corruption in india.. Corrupt cong govt is awarding to Cong MP Sachin.. and people didn't asked for BR in last 60 years bcoz rules are never gonna change for Dhyanchand or Vishy, the best sportspersons of India..

The sole criteria is to Make Indians feel Pride, Put India's Name in Top of their Field, Make Indians inspire. And certainly its not a Nobel prize for the service to the Humanity.
I dont think, you will dare to tell us that, sachin didn't done those things. and about your 2nd and 3rd question, Any moves taken by Ruling party used to be opposed by Opposition. But in this case, had you heard anything negative from any opposition Parties?
And if you dont want ruling party to decide the Person, do you want to decide by Poll? I don't think, anybody in your list will give a tough competition to sachin. For your kind information, Sachin was miles ahead than Bradman in a poll conducted by a 'UK Media' regarding Who is 'Greatest'. If you conduct a Poll in India regarding who should be awarded first? I wonder, Dhyanchand supporters will be ashamed themselves.
I never said or wont say, dhyanchand doesn't deserves. But I strongly believe (this is my personal opinion only) If living Legends are awarded with the Prestigious Award, That will inspire a lot of Indians (Current/New Generation) to excel in their field.
For example, I am 100% sure, The farewell BCCI give to sachin should have inspired a lot of Young Cricketers and Might have given a full doss of confidence to their families to support them.

Vishy Anand and Dhyanchand has achieved far morein their respective sports.. When we give award we should give it to the best not on the basis of popularity... It is the award given by corrupt cong to Cong MP Sachin..

Look at my First Post, My main focus was on the motive behind this case. A PIL by asking to revoke Award is understandable. But a Case with 419 and 504? ok, Leave it. To frame a case, you can include the award committee. But My question is, in what sense he can include sachin's Name? Only for grabbing Attention, right? This is a proven Theory in last 5 years that, If you want to sell a Book, Write against Sachin. If you want to be in limelight, badly criticize sachin.
If anybody else was in sachin's place, they would have filed a defamation case against that lawyer and the outcome will be unconditional Apologies from that Lawyer.

Instead of Dhyanchand and sachin, i will vote for Shrinivasa Ramanujan. A forgotten Hero. Its against my concept but he certainly deserves it ASAP.

Do you have any idea, in what criteria Satyajit Ray, Lata Mangaeshkar, MGR and some other Music/Movie Persons got Bharat Ratna? Why not Phalke?

Vishy Anand and Dhyanchand are more deserving candidates than Sachin as per their achievements in the respective sports. Sachin is not even top 10 sportsperson in India.. corrupt cong govt awarded to Cong MP is the usual vote politics.. Earlier decision was taken by committee to give award to Dhyachand.. but, cong govt change the decision without any expert advice in just 24 hours..

If Dhoni,Srinivasan & our sachin lobbyist given a choice then this is also possible.My heart goes for Major Dhyan Chand who lost out the chance to be first sports person to get BR when vote hungry Congress overlooked his claim posthumously to consider Sachin who the media in India may try to project as the greatest but facts are different.DC was greatest who never allowed Indian hockey team to lose a match all his life in Olympics & we were number one team till he played.We reached number one position in 2011 for an year after playing matches in India but were thrashed 8-0 by England & Australia in presence of BR
It is sad that acase against Sachin's bharat Ratna has ben filed in the court,nothing but a mean act.Sachin fully deserves it.Court will certainly dismiss the case.However it is adifferent issue why the govt. announced the honour immediately on the day of retirement,why it couldn't wait normally honours are announced on the eve of 26th January.Govt.'s motive is under question?

Many people do not know about Sachin. People know only Sachin as Cricketer. The other which do not know are follow:
1. Sachin donates Rs. 1.50 cr every year to the Patiants of Cancer, Aides, and Polio.
2 He is sponsering 200 students for education every year.
3 He is donating Rs. 60.00 cr for flood relief.
4 He is paying Rs. 2.00 cr per year for 12 orphanges.

Even if that was for Tax Benefits, The Amount he was not earned by winning Lottery tickets. All the money he earned by his dedication, Sacrifice and also his hard Works. Are you a that much successful person to be able to Donate atleast the half of the said amount, even for Tax benefits?

Bharat Ratna shd be conferred on those who have made a huge socio-evonomic impact like Mother Teresa. It is used as a weapon to gain political benefit. This is clear as Sachin is Rajya Sabha member pushed by congress party. What is Sachin's contribution towards betterment of society. He is a great player and also has earned a great fortune of wealth. Great visionaries and achievers like Verghese Kurien, MS Swaminathan & Venketshewar who brought revolutions in Dairy, Agriculture & Poultry fields deserve BR much ahead of Sachin.
why dhyanchand's fans have awakened now ?? where their love for dhyanchand gone before?? why they are screaming now ? this is pure out of jealousy not out of love. like voice to give bharat ratna to sachin came from love and passion... voice of giving bharat ratna to dhyanchand is coming out of JEALOUSY !!
