Bharat Ratna to Tendulkar was totally uncalled for. Many of the greats have retired after playing cricket but this is bharat ratna is really uncalled for.I think imran is right that media has clearly created a an overhype of tendulkar's retirement. Sandeep Saxena

its just cong's election gimmick. The vast no of people who were in wankhede were not true cricket lovers they were just Sachin lovers bcoz no cricket lover boos a batsman when they he gets out.
When Sachin batted, he batted for himself. He had much more Cricketing Ability, much more support than what he delivered. I do not recall a Single Innings of substance, innate character that was meant for India. Even the most enthralling innings of Sachin had Sachin written all over them. They glorified Sachin, they were played for Sachin. As a Cricketer, I admire him, I admire his hard work, as a performer, contributor to the glory, victory of India, I rate him very low, lower than Dravid, Laxman, Gavaskar, Azahraududin, Patuadi, Kapil Dev, Virender Sehwag.
Congrats Sachin for Bharat Ratna. all the best. After VVS Laxman, Dravid, Sourav this is the legend who retired from international cricket. Greate era has ended greatly.
he spolied many guys career like badrinath..i agree is he one of a good batsmen but not a good cricketer becoz of his pathetic fielding, captaincy and selfish game.
