All those involved in 2G scam, commonwealth game scams, coalgate scams, Boforse scam Haryana land scam, VIP Helicopter scam, Railway promotion scam, Handicapped fund scam, Tatra truck scam they all deserve BHARAT RATNA AWARD.
Dhyanchand,Vishwanathan Anand,Kapil Dev,Milka Singh,Abhinav Bindra,Vijay Amritraj,Sunil Gavaskar,Leander Paes..congress slapped on the face of all these legends as there is zero possibility of them coming to campaign for Congress in the next election.
Sachin Tendulkar has played wonderful cricket during the past 24 years and got name fameand money.On the day of retirement got "Bharat Ratna". What an indian can think for himself. He is really a marvellous and electrifying personality. But in my opinion it will be better Had govt honoured Late Dhyanchand first(India got Olympic gold medal in Hockey from pre independence to after independece) , then KapilDev second(Who lifted world cup first time for India), then Sunil Gavskar third who broke the record of Don Bradman after long 30 years and made no. of records in batting which is now in the name of Sachin, and then Sachin Tendulkar. It will be better if Sachin asks govt to think for his predecessors first and then for him. This will only brighten his personality. Otherwise critics will smell election propaganda also and this decision of govt will be scanned by this way also in future. Amit PRanav

It's a Slave Nation, plays a Slave Game, so nothing matters....Sachin is NOTHING compared to Michael Jourdan, Osain Bolt, Michael Phelps, Maradona, Zidanne etc who have become WORLD FAMOUS Athletes. It's a SHAME and the EIGHTH WONDER of THE WORLD as to what we do with the Slave Game aka Cricket.

Jacque Kallis and Kumar Sangakara average is much higher than Sachin Tendulkar. How can one call him "G0d of Cricket?"

chew tiya, sachin had average of 57 till 2012...statistics dont tell everything..and this is india award...lankans and south africans not considered...fact is he has brought immense joy to millions of people in india and deserved this award every bit. now go and sleep in your isolated den and never come back. do nt forget to buy a pack of burnol before that.
utter shame to Bharat Ratna. What he has done to people of hte country? He played for his reocrds and Money. Has he opened for tests? Has he kept wickets ? Why players from Mumbai always given such highlevel importance.Even fareweel treat has dominated indian victory.If sachin is not from mumbai he would have retired atleast 5 years ago.Absolute terrible on Bcci. Shame on Congress Govt.BCCI deliberately reduced the Southafrican tour to accommodate sachin exit in mumbai.Is there anything more crazier than this? Commmon cricket fan should think about this.
