I think we have lost many test batsmen in last 3 years. We lost,Dravid,Laxman,Ghambir and now Sehwag.Tendulkar is also there mainly on reputation.Dhoni kas played well only in last few tests.Rena and Yuvraj could not sustain.Even Kohali is not that consistent. The only reason for that is IPL.IPL is spoilig game style and very few can switch from T2O TO Tests.

He should not be blamed

He always had a flat belly and now comes to the field with a bulge below his chest. It's not his fault, but it's the fault of the entire team, the coach, and the fitness expert, who allowed him to get lazy and take things as granted...now HE alone is paying for this...

Sehwag, a real match winner...
by Raj India on Mar 08, 2013 03:29 PM  | Hide replies

India's Opening will be a head ache to Dhoni in South Africa, without Sehwag and Gambhir. Experience matters in fast pitches like Durban and Johannesburg. Pujara's real test will be there on fast tracks. Dont forget that Sehwag's first test century was in SA. So, try to include him in the test side to SA even if he is an utter failure in this series. Dont forget his contributions to the team to make India No 1 test side.

it may it is long time back. at present scenario, it is very difficult for him to face the world's quickest bowler. I think it the time for him and Sachin to hang their boots.

Virender Sehwag is undoubtedly a name that sends shiver up bowlers spine. One of the most death give mats men in the world. He is just going though a bad phase like many others went and will go. He can never be written off and I am su he will be back soon with a bang. Good Luck Viru.

Greatest match winner in the last decade
by Narayanan Mahalingam on Mar 08, 2013 12:58 PM

Viru was the greatest match winner in the last decade in the Indian test team. Gave many moments of joy in test cricket. It would be bad to see him back in the shed @ 34. He needs to get his motivation back.
Would love to see him in the middle order slot in SA.
