Action of BCCI not the Captain
by sandeep on Mar 07, 2013 09:26 PM

Who are in and who are out is political decision in India. If mighty fails then he will come back. If meek fails no chance. Who is mighty and who is meek is the discretion of power holders not the captain if he is not in the good books of .... After all it is money not the conscience because chairman and members of ....themselves are not selected on merit. How a keen follower of cricket could expect a fair decision. Statistics itself is political in nature. Otherwise Ranji trophy, Duleep trophy, and many other trophies would still had value in India and many mighty would have fallen earlier and meek would have become mightier.

Just play for Delhi Daredevils with more intensity, Selectors will come to lick your feet again.

Better wish him he scores good in longer version. dont even compare skills of T20 and ODI please.

We spoiled our matche winners like Sehwag, Tiwary, Kohli by these shorter forms only.

My wish, Sehwag only plays longer version (ofcos he wud play for IPL for money, no pbm). But Lets only clap for him for his Test hundreds.

as a FAN of his thunderous batting, I wish him good luck for early come back with a Test Class.

happy but
by Sharanu on Mar 07, 2013 08:31 PM  | Hide replies

though I am very happy that belly sehwag has finally been dropped. i am utterly disappointed for non inclusion of highly talented young batsman Abhinav Mukund. along with in form Murali vijay they would be lethal combo against aussies. also ishant should be dropped and replaced by either Sreesanth or highly experinced L Balaji

Always think of your State Selfish Tamilian, they have to perform for India, not for Tamil Nadu state team.

4-0 is no credit against this team for sure.

Shivanand: Neither Ohja nor ASHWIN are genuine spinners.......do not go by wickets against weak oppositions and sub-contient conditions
ASHWIN is purely T-20/ODI bowler, for test cricket these are too many variations......OHJA: he is just consistent bowler who bowls tight lines with little variations......both will struggle outside sub-continent...here is when you need GENUINE spinner...ever bajji is out of form he is the only GENUINE spinner with lot of variations but it was only he need to correct his mind

@Kalyan: Aren't you contradicting yourself? "Ashwin has too much variation, so he is fit for ODI/T20s only" and "Ojha has no variation so is not great for tests?" So does a bowler need to have variation or not for tests?? Okay Kumble was also not a genuine spinner- so what? What if Ashwin can be ONLY a Kumble? I'd love such a "tragedy" for India...LoL

Resting of Sehwag
by jai ghosh on Mar 07, 2013 07:36 PM  | Hide replies

I think it is fair enough. This is the attitude all employers should have, i.e. PERFORM OR MAKE ROOM FOR OTHERS. I think by this the institution will progress.....
