Why all Barking at this place.If India would have lost, everyone should have yelled at him. As he won everyone instead of enjoying/Praising the Win,started telling Dhoni is Not Good..
Below are the Reasons which make Dhoni the Best and Hats off to him,
1)Dhoni is from a Very small Rural Place, where it is difficult for a person to enter the Bigger Stage - But he did.
2)Until Dhoni Took Over the Captaincy, All the Previous captains used to tell "Sachin is not playing so it is a Big Loss", but you know what Dhoni Said i one interview "It is not about Sachin, it is about all the 11 wickets"-It made the Indian Team Independent on individuals.
3)Dhoni is a Best Player of a Shot Pitch Delivery in the Indian Team-Have you Guys Forgot about Ganguly's Beatings against Aktar, Mcgrath and even from a medium rated fast bowlers.
4)How Many times Ganguly left a Ball between his legs?
5)Dhoni is the Best Batsman to score during the Chase in the ODIs,
6)Sehwag, Gambhir, Harbhajan, Zaheer - Are they Legends?, Are they playing for Team???? - think Guys.. Even 5 members not playing for the Team, dhoni made the Team Strong.

you peoples does not like him, because he never praise Sachin.you peoples want Dhoni to tell "Without Sachin it is difficult for Team.."Without Ganguly it is hard to Lead the Cricket Team","Without Zaheer India Cannot Bowl", "without Gambhir/Sehwag India Cannot Open with others"

Let These Big State Peoples

he is only one Lucky capt india had. the present aussie is worst team that is touring... again luck lady is with MSD, enjoy when the sun shine..!

Karthikeyan: You are making fun of yourself by showing your lack of cricketing knowledge not one is trying to compare here DHONI VS GANGULY as batsman comparison is all about CAPTAINCY........all the reasons which you pointed are about batsmanship

Why do you want to compare him as a Best Captain with others???.. Dis Dhoni ever said that "he is the Best Captain"... you guys starting a Topic and you guys yelling at him.... so sad of you guys...

Dear supporter, Sachin refused to take captaincy and he only choose MSD as capable one for captaincy and himself not taken capataincy. Whether agree or doesn't agree, praise or doesn't praise Master is Master and doesn't need a mentioning by a ordinary captain like DHONI. We have been seeing what happened to India in one day cricket and will also what happens to India in Test Cricket once sachin retires from tests also.

DHONI: Kumble retired and INDIA were already on ROAD TO NO.1 in TESTS if you have doubts please refresh your mind abt INDIAN BATTING ORDER, Best OPENING COMBINATION INDIA has EVER had in our HISTORY of game (Sehwag&Gambhir) followed by 4 LEGENDS(dravid,SACHIN,laxman,dada)...ZKhan, Yuvraj,Hbajan are SUPER STARS even before dhoni started playing for INDIA.....its funny to think DHONI has built this TEAM...only people wich lack of basic cricketing knowledge consider DHONI BEST EVER...but can stand NEXT TO DADA & Kapil DEV only. How can you attribute test no.1 dhoni to built test team you will take 5 years for players to settle down and get into groove

Now coming to 2 W-CUPS: Tell me how many runs have been scored by DHONI himself during both the series except for FINALS where in he pushed himself up the order ahead of MAN OF THE SERIES YUVRAJ & in-form RAINA...it he had persisted with normal batting order his contribution is ZERO.

So all your claimns about DHONI building up this team (TEST), T20 & ODI W-CUP is just fluke....T20 is only because of Yuvraj's individual brillence and ODI is again Yuvraj with good contributions from other players than DHONI

well said kalyan. i am not against dhoni. but as a batsman dhoni is good player in indian flat pitches. he is cunning too, he is genius in robbing others credit.

Totally agree on above , i admire Dhoni because he raise up from small town.. and leading now team India. It just not need luck , you have to be strategist and perform consistently at those level.-He is true fighter.
As a batsman you compared Dhoni with ganguly is true they are all so technically correct batsman but cant pull the well. Very few in Indian players play this short, even in a bouncy seamy track and Dhoni is one of them.
He is fearless to criticize against his team member if some thing not going well , this could be the thing which made him unpopular among the fans of superstars. He done this against Sachin, Shewagh, VVS , Gambhir, and Zaheer,
Most importantly what his team has and all the x caption was not having is he himself, India never had a match winning wicket keeper batsman like him who can give balance to the team.
