Nobody will accept Dhoni in the list because of his continuous failure in abroad and at home.

Saurav & allan Border since they brought the team from bottom to top where as Cronje & waugh kept the momentum.
Dhoni reaped the benefit of ganguly but ultimately lost too many matches & series, hence he may be the worst captain.
Vaugan,Taylor,Sammy,Imran,Cook,Smith are way ahead of Dhoni.

My list
by sailaja sailaja on Jan 29, 2013 11:33 AM  | Hide replies

1. Ricky Ponting
2. Steve Waugh
3. Greame Smith

All Indian captains are equally bad...however Azza, Dravid & Dhoni stand out.

Ganguly is worst captain - he was using Dalmia power and dadagiri

Dravid has max IQ in indian team.
India won series in England, WI & 1st test in SA under dravid. He was also one of the test batsman.
During his speech in australia, entire audotorum was full as he is a very good speaker also. Dhoni is a dumb politicain

O.K.
Azar is good since he is involved in match fixing.
Dravid for winning against weak teams.
Dhoni for losing countless series of tests, one days,Asia & world T20 etc.
sailaja ,you have good sense of humour or no knowledge about cricket.

Only if he would have been there playing yet,
he would would have taken all records for captaincy in both ODIs and Tests.

both dada & dhoni politicain rided on success of good forms of sachin, dravid, laxman, kumble, zaheer, srinath, bhajji, sehwag.
Once they failed, captaincy exposed.
Both of them average player but ganguly far superior to politicain dhoni

Dhoni is worst.
He is only captain
1) Who got two successive white wash abroad
2)Lost last 12 out of 15 test
3)Has not won a single overseas series against main team SA/Aus/Eng/SLK etc.
4)Lost 3 consecutive T-20 wcups by loosing 8 out of 10 super league match.
5)Overseas ODI record also worst.
Out in 1st round of championship tropy.
6)He has no fifty in t-20 intnl even after playing 42 matches.
6)No overseas century in any format of game.
7)Oversaes test avg less than 30.
8)ODI avg manipulated due to no. of not out inning.
There also sher only at home.
Any other captain given so many chances could have fared better than him.

Now India is no.5 in test & no.3 in t-20 under politician dhoni.
ODI no.1 also for few hrs which will go after next series.
It was courtsey NZL beating SA.
Otherwise India lost all overseas ODI tours this year including triangular cup in aus & asia cup. series loss in SA & England.

But dhoni is still better batsman than his friend raina.Raina is the biggest failure in the history of cricket he plays as a batsman and averages lesser than irfan in test is the only batsman not to score century in 5 years.dhoni as captain fails because he plays raina.Time has come to drop raina permanently.
