Most ex-captain themselves would pick Clive Lloyd as the best captain of the post war era. And Steve Waugh was nothing special as captain, Mark Taylor is rated much higher than him as a captain. Allan Border was however better than both.

Dhoni is worst captain & player in t-20. Even worse than test. Dhoni has no score of fifty or MOM or match winning inning in t-20 intnl even after playing 42 matches. His strike rate is as low as 110 which is patetic for his no. Under captaincy India lost 3 consecutive T-20 wcups & lost more than 70% matches in last 2 yrs aginast main teams. He is worst in test & t-20 but descent in ODI
