What About Azharuddin,Kapil dev and Sunil Gavaskar are the best captains of India cricket History.
It is none other than Dravid, Ganguly's success is mainly due to strong deputy in Dravid. This was told by Ganguly himself on retirement day. But Everyone ganged up against him in 2007 WC, Sehwag, Sachin, Ganguly, Bhajji, Yuvi all played substandard to teach lesson to Greg Chappel. Every junior and senior player ill-treated just b'cos he had good understanding with Greg.
Truth will one day come out on how india lost WC2007 just to teach Greg a lesson and humiliating India and Dravid.

The reason for the 2007 debacle was due to misplacements in batting order and nothing else.Ganguly-Uthappa opening pair didn't click and Sachin had to play in pressure situation at no:4 after losing quick wickets which he seldom excelled.
he managed just average players nicely. australian captain were lucky to have world class players like warne, mcgrath, lee, gilchrist, hayden and others
