Ganguly picks extraordinary cricketer's (Sehwag, yuvraj, harbajan,Zaheer) and backs them to core and time and again it proved his worth (ganguly)as captain.....these are the premiere architechs of India's peak performances....Dravid & Sachin consistent for two decades under ganguly & Dhoni ...........now dhoni's picks....average talents R Jadeja, P chawla, Vinay kumar,R Ashwin ( Like A mendis of sri lanka), badri, M vijay and backs them to core....can any one remember any of these guys won you matches single handedly...with rare exceptions remain.........we need to understand talent always comes with attitude....with rare exceptions like our very own sachin & Dravid.......you need to properly deal with ego's of senior members otherwise you can not pull out good performances from your team. Talents which were not nurtured properly by dhoni are Robin Uthapa, I Pathan, Sreeshanth, Yousuf Pathan and also he is not properly managing our match winners Sehwag, gambhir, harbajan singh and also led to decline of these seniors form....off course they also need to have responsibility to isolate team issues and personal performances
Normally close matches could go either way and as a rule the team or the captain making fewer mistakes wins such matches. This exactly what happened and India lost inspite of Indian batting coming good. ThaT is Alastair Cook was successful in executing the plans for the win while Dhoni failed. In fact Dhoni failed to press home advantage of Raina 's unexpected good bowling who along with Jadeja had virtually pulled back the game. Logically he should have contd. with Raina and taken chance with Yuvraj but instead he allowed the opportunity to slip away. Also, while bowling death overs or when a bowler is giving away too many runs the process should be slowed down--there has to be lot of discussions, deliberations among Captain, bowlers, and other senior players after each ball but nothing of that sort happened when Ishant Sharmna was at his “Erratic worst”. Same with Ashwin who instead of bowling plain off-spinners like Tredwell did was seen to be doing some funn7y and awful Bhrathanatayam dance poses ball after ball. Coming to batting, it came good for once and Dhoni as usual comes way down the order, takes couple of overs to settle down allowing the ‘asking rate’ to climb beyond ‘striking sight’ and then goes all out for barrage of Sixes which is always going to be Hit and miss Gamble. He wants a Dhoni –centric win ? As things stand, thanks to Dhoni it is advantage England in the series for now.

Time and again he proving the same......its high time he stops picking his chamchas rather than team to WIN...after the start of last test match VS England he states he wanted to give chance to youngsters and played Jadeja into test team...then why is not concerned to give chances to other youngsters like Tiwari's, rahane's, Raidu's & now Pujara's..though they are part of the squad for serverl years ....when ROHIT was in form of his life and Kohli has failed in 3 sucessive test matches in AUS...he(Rohit) was made to sit....When ROHIT was failing in every other match....he still continues playing ROHIT........now Pujara is excellent form still Jadeja is preferred.....He picks Jadeja as batting all-rounder & ashwin as bowler yet he sends Ashwin to bat before Jadeja.....he want's to justify his selections (ashwin's contributions with bat will improve his chances of retaining him)......last couple of series we have seen Dinda bowl well in finishing overs as he is the only one currently who can bowl Yorkers...yet he choses Ishanth who is completely out of form....inspite of Yuvraj picking up crutial wickets in every other match he still utilizes him as the last possible option after trying to bowl non regular part-timers like ROHIT's, Kohli's, Raina's etc......HE JUST wants to create situation and cry he does not have enough part timers to complete 5th bowler's qota and hence he can pick his chamcha(jadeja) as bowling all-rounder...HE IS PLAYING CIRCUS wITH THE TEAM

I agree with you mohan, dhoni's sucess as captain is just fluke looking at his bizzare team selections and moves he is taking off late......you need to understand-dhoni to understand his moves.....Dhoni is average cricketer with strong will cunning brain...with his limited technique he clearly understand's his limitation that he can not slog the quality bowlers and hence he is smart in chosing his batting order...against quality bowlers & tough conditions he stays back otherwise he comes up againt simpler conditions..he also picks right bowlers (weak) to HIT..rest of the time he focusses on singles.....So he makes up for his ordinary technique with EXTRA ORDINARY thinking...........with TOP5 aggressive batting order Sachin/Gambhir, Sehwag, Kohli, Yuvraj's,Raina are in excellent form and aggressive best....dhoni has luxury to take his time because either openers already gave good start (high runrate) or players to come after him has capability to slog at any bowler and any time.......THIS has developed false impressions that he can built good team with average players like Jadeja, vinay kumar, piyush, M Vijay, Rohit (exception though for his natural talent) by giving these guys countless opportunities but he need to understand they are average cricketers (technique) with average mind.........it you can not understand my logic here is one more example...GANGULY is average cricketer (batting technique) with extra ordinary passion for sucess
A decade back, Laxman and Dravid toyed with the world's greatest spinner. Now, rookie players are running rings around the batsmen. We neither produce good spinners nor produce batsmen who can play spin. Nobody expects our batsmen to play fast bowling. We generate a lot of revenue for cricket and BCCI!!!!!

All the visiting spinners bowl in Indian conditions better than the overhyped Ashwin. Hafeez, Ajmal, Treadwel, Swan, Panesar all have used Indian conditions very well. Dhoni should be careful in choosing his chamchas. Else India will be whitewashed again and again

Jadeja was the only economic bowler in the match.

Mr.Dharmendra: Economic bowlers can not win matches...look at last 3 series he conceeded lot of runs yesterday was one of few exceptions....can't you see that dhoni's is creating place for Jadeja as 5th bowler by not utilizing wicket taking bowler (yuvraj)..if yuvraj fills the 5th bowler's quota then Jadeja is not required..its simple logic selection........Mahesh: what is your problem with Dinda...tall 6.2 ft Ishanth bowls at 130 KMPH and dinda bowls at 140 KMPH this shows his big heart of fast bowler and he is the only one bowler in india (Umesh Yadav is exception)who can bowl yorkers and he is the right one to bowl death overs
