It was still a positive display by team India.India lacks good pace bowling. What impressed me most is the pitch at Rajkot was not prepared to accomodate Ashwin and Jadeja at all.Just slight wetting with very-soft sand/clay massala, few days in advance, I saw it at the Oval and you have a spinners paradise. Get on team India.
He played for his 50 to secure his position. On flattest track in the world, with many inside edges close to stumps & bowls just passing the bat to wicket keeper. This is what Gambhir can do max.

What u have said is correct but it applies to raina not gambhir as gambhir has won plenty of matches and raina has not won us a single match he is the biggest match loser history has ever seen.
M S Dhoni should realise that he has to support talents not people who have not utilised the ample opportunities. Is there any sanity in selection of Dhinda and Gambhir and resting Pujara and likes of Yadav Aron Sreeshanth watching on TV. I mean it is downright foolish.

why india lost: 1) all our top 6 batsman got 30 scores but no body went on to make big scores of 70 . big scores win the game, not the scores of 50. and we are keeping the batsman capable of scoring 300s on bench.
2) no overs given to yuvraj at all.
3) incorrect selection. R ashwin and jadeja are playing all 3 formats without performance. he needs to be given a break. dinda returning back in place of shami ahmed who bowled well against pakistan. amit mishra and pujara not getting a game.
4) dhoni batting at no. 6. inspite of all commentators and former cricketers asking him to bat at 3 or 4. he does not want to take the responsibilty. he is the man in form and he can win the match for india if he bats at 3 or 4.
5) bad bowling in death overs. what is the use of bowling coach if ishant sharma can not bowl yorkers even after 5 years of international cricket.

very rightly said.Useless Fletcher should be thrown out.The time he has come it has spell doom for India.He is old and outdated.

it seems batsman and bowlers are playing for themselves then the team.Very selfish play is being done by team.jadeja is not fit for team.india needs good bowlers.Instead of jadeja either of pathan brothers would had been useful.This is team in transition.IT might take some time come up again.

Because irfan despite being the best all rounder in the country is not included coz he did not play for csk.
