Dhoni is a tough guy, unflinching in spirit ...but off late he comes across as somebody whose actions are bereft of any sort of thought process. sHOULDNT THERE BE A METHOD EVEN IN MADNESS? How could he ever think of playing with 4 spinners in a test match?
Have heard of banana republics and Dhoni gave us an opportunity to watch "banana test cricket" . Test Cricket needs to be dealt with systematically, one shouldn't employ the cavalier methods of T20 in Test Cricket. Perhaps Dravid is talking sense...Dhoni perhaps needs a bit of DETOXIFICATION.

Here is guy who has gone through all formats successfully, captained India and has captained India. More than every thing his consistency and big average. This guy has no axe to grind but interest of Indian future cricket and Dhoni's interest to nurture him to do long hauling needed from Dhoni's side for Indian cricket. If one things over calmly this may be the best solution. Perhaps if convinced Dhoni can act still earlier.

Dhoni should remove from Captaincy
by arun chowdhury on Jan 10, 2013 11:38 AM

The man who is known as Captain cool is under qualified and from poor back ground. He does not know how to behave with Senior Cricketers. His attitude is negative. He is far away from Pataudi, Ajit Wadekar, Sunil Gavaskar and Sourav Ganguli. All of them are well educated and from well background.
Secondly for any defeat immediately he is ready to create EXCUSE. Efficient person never speak
like that.

So,it is better to select 3 Captain for 3 different format.Dhoni should get selection for ODI only.

captaincy issue
by muhammad ahmed on Jan 10, 2013 11:35 AM

there is no point in changing t20 captain, indian team is performing badly in both the departments. blaming pitches and captaincy for lost matches has become the excuse for us now.

If need be, Dhoni will give up India's captaincy in all 3 forms of the game, but give up CSK captaincy? Never!

Will not

Dhoni will not give up anything!

He holds the captaincy in all the 3 formats not because he is the best captain in the world but because Cricket in India is owned by corporates and bookies!

As long as they are happy with him, he is going nowhere!

Dravid should keep his worthless comments to himself!

i agree with dravid that DHONI should give up CSK capataincy. But disagree with his opinion of Dhoni giving up T20 captaincy. However he should consider giving up test captaincy.

Dhoni is the best that we have & people like dravid who could not manage captaincy, should stop commenting.

Dravid managed captaincy splendidly and he also knew when to give it up. He was not greedy like Dhoni.

Dhoni is not the best, but was better than most others, for the captaincy. Currently he is out of form (luck) as a captain, and on top of it all he has become arrogant, and comes out with lame excuses for failing to lead the team to wins. There is no comparison between Dravid and Dhoni. Rahul was gracious from day one whereas Mahi still has a rustic mentality.
