Dhoni's like Imran Khan. He fights like a cornered tiger. Recent scores against pakistan & Eng showed this qulaity in ample measure.
Dhoni has the T20 & world cup under his belt, but these were minor battles compared to Ganguly's accomplishments. Ganguly has to be credited for building a team that believed in themselves and delivered to their abilities. Ganguly's team stopped the rampaging Ausies and world cricket is grateful to him. His determination and team building gave confidence to the other cricket playing nations that they too have a future and don't have to lay on their back for the Ausie's to take charge. Secondly Ganguly developed cricketing stars like Sehwag, Gambhir, Bhaji, Zaheer... even Dhoni came under him

Yes Dhoni never had nor will ever have the luck to repeatedly near a mile stone. Every player has a tendency to become cautious near a mile stone. But Dhoni does not score so can have the luxury of being reckless.

Let us enlight another part of their captaincy. Ganguly became the captain when indian team was at sea, down with match fixing scandal. It was under his captaincy India learnt to win overseas. Champions like Zaheer Khan, Bhajji, Yuraj, Nehra, Shweag and even Dhoni blossomed under his captaincy. Name a single world class player(Test player of course)who has come up under Dhoni's leadership. Please do not name Jadeja, Raina, Aswin etc. As they are only T20 players Summary- Dada is the Best Indian captain, Dhoni is the captain of best Indian team made by Dada
