I am a big fan of Dhoni in Limited overs but same time big critic of him in tests.But he proved me wrong through this innings.His natural style is more suitable to longer versions actually because he takes time to settle in.Once he settled in he can play aggressively in tests as the field is set more attackingly.Dhoni is the most improved batsman in Indian cricket.He developed from a slogger to a situational player and his 99 in Nagpur is a proof of that and the double hundred here is much better than that.
tend got india out of trouble and did foundation..then kohli brought score close and dhoni did fast scoring. but all kudos to dhoni to scroring fast and trying to go for win rather than old indian method of trying for draw (this situation is perfect for Superrrrrbhaaaaji..when smell of victory is there Superrrrbhaaaaahji is there)
