I hope that Rasool is much matured that UA. Not to loose patience so early. Rasool must be atleast proud to be part of Indian Team. He must wait for the right time and bounce.

i completely agree.. i feel these politicians should stay out of games..I am sure parvez learnt a lot on this tour and will take him forward. everyone knows he has talent...I hope the CM shuts his mouth for good..

There is nothing wrong in reacting. We should respect the sentiments of all Indians. This is not the question of immaturity. Every politician do the same thing for their people. Why there is so much hue and cry???
unfortunate that such regionalism is shown in cricket...Omar Abdullah would not have said the same if the player was from another state...everyone should look at rasool as an indian rather than Kashmiri and treated accordingly......jadeja could not have been replaced by rasool because it wud hae affected the balance of the team with 1 less spinner...and none of the fast bowlers could have been rested since they are all new....I remember Sachin Tendulkar touring westindies when he was 15 year old and not given any chance...youngsters need to be patient and earn their spot...rasool should be patient and wait for his chance
It appears that the Indians look at th Kashmeris indifferently. The heavans would not have fallen, if Rasool was played at this very insignificant match. His fellow-men in Kashmere would have been happy.

It is not just kashmiris, we all wanted to see Rasool play.We the rest of India is also disappointed as Kashmiris.May be, Kohli or Fletcher should have fielded him in the place of Mishra. Dont lose heart, Rasool. All the good players go through this phase before they establish themselves with their merit.

i agree that he should have been played but I think he has a long career ahead and i am sure he will get his due.. we all know how talented he is and thats the reason he has been picked...but pls dont regionalise....we are Indians first and then kashmeris, gujratis etc...

not just kashmir, all of india. we wanted to see him play as Dhoni is brand ambassador of Jharkand. who knows rasool could be the brand ambassador for crickent in Kashmir and popularise the game there. BCCI is a corporate body, there is something called Corporate social responsibility (CSR). Playing Rasool is one of them in the direction.

Heavens would not have fallen, if Rasool was played, even in the last and very insignificant match. Keeping one hearty, would instill confidence and attachment with the rest of the Nation.
we never saw u raising any such concern in any of the previous tours. it is well known that dhoni is reluctant in giving oppurtunity to new players, the playing eleven for him remains more or less the same, most of the time only 12 get to play out of 15. This tour atleast 14 got to paly and also many of th regulars were not there which gave an oppurtunity for others.

Rasool should have been given a chance since the series were already won. You don't expect him to be given a chance against the Australians or SA or Pak. Something is wrong with our team management. A leader would have said that I will sit out but let us give the youngster a chance.
Having said that Farooq kept his mouth shut against Srinivasan and all his tricks to stick to the chair. Also Farooq put his foot in the mouth by saying that we could get a meal for Rs 1.

agreed that chance hud have been given. but, again if you say that he is not good enough to play against australia, SA or pak then his position in hte team is not justified.
Mr. abdullal i m also a talented cricketer, the next time there is similar oppurtunity wherein one gets to tour a foreign country and not to play, please consider me for that. I assure you that i would not be having any issues with not being in he playing eleven.
Rasool is the only one left out now and that's unfortunate. Abdullah however must shut his mouth and not politicize this issue. Already e have that cunning $h!t Geelani waiting for even a sound of an anti-India pin-drop to amplify it to some deafening wail. Abdullah's comments will serve as fodder for that stinking pig and his trailing piglets.
