I don't know why they have been made Captain. They should all take a lesson from DHONI- PONTING- DRAVID-to be calm and do leadership not to run like a MONKEY when any wickets fell thru any catch taken or bowled etc....

My best Captain awards goes to the great DHONI

kohli is also human . Such incidents happen in everyone's life . when emotions overtake your control . But media shouldn't try to instill hatred in public's mind .

Captain cool is the best

No matter what happens only Dhoni keeps his calm. Dravid comes next. Gambhir, Virat, Rohit are arrogant and as if they are not running out their partners, they behave indecently with their own teammates. Despite a poor bowling by Dirk Nannes today, Dhoni does nt even show his disappointment. At last he won. Other captains should emulate him

First of all Kohli did not "lash" out on the crowd behavior. However he should have avoided dragging crowd behavior in his press conference. Indian crowds are passionate and Kohli as an Indian should know better. As for Rayudu's dismissal there was nothing wrong. It it not Kohli's job to display "sportsmanship". His job is to lead the team and win games. He is very competitive which unfortunately is alien to Indians as amply displayed in this board by people who are calling him arrogant.

Rcb mgt have made a blunder by making kohli a captain, who thinks he ia superior than sachin, dravid etc... learn from them, it will help you

Virat Kohli is an arrogant person . Success has gone over his head .If he continues to behave this way or have attitude problems , it will not be a surprise if he goes Vinod Kambli way .

i have watched a couple of games, the crowd is just just way too focussed on the mumbai team that they cannot njoy the bigger picture thats good cricket. i remember csk vs mumbai final and when csk won, no one clapped or even waited for the trophy ceremony to acknowledge the win. unfortunate

who are you judging? A crowd? They dont have an identity. Kohli should be intelligent enough to understand this. He made it sound like this 'crowd' has an identity and will be always there in future games also.

What an arrogant upstart!

I think we give our cricketers so much of "bhav" that they think they are Gods from above. This fellow should know that he is there because of this crowd. It is they, who are giving him a livelihood.

So if they abuse him then he should keep quiet is it? Your office is giving you livelihood but if your boss were to abuse you and your ancestors regularly, you will keep quiet? Everybody has and needs to have something called self respect and Kohli has it a little more than a few.. which age do you belong to man?

Guys lets aspire for a new India amidst proactive thinking and decision making .. we are so laid back in all spheres of life be it politics, cricket etc etc . And thats the reason that inspite of being the coolest captain dhoni has question marks on his test captaincy because he simply doesnt proactively try to finish games off..his method has been successful in subcontinent pitches but outside India even in ODIs he hasnt been good enough .. i think in this IPL its because of MSD's captaincy that CSK has got so many games going to the wire...he could have finished few games earlier with his bat and captaincy then their run rate would have been better.. Virat is a top order batsman having mentality totally different from MSD . he looks to finish games off when he is going strong..he doesnt take games to last overs..we need to acknowledge the difference in personalities between them and we should not expect Virat to be as cool as MSD or MSD to blow opposition away in 17.4 overs like Virat did to DD ..so guys grow up and look ahead in the future.. and dont be critical of Virat's aggression.

sorry its not DD but its against teams like Sunrisers,Pune,Rajasthan,KKR etc they have won they have won in style..just blew their opponents and in few of them Virat played a part as well..so his attitude is that of blowing away after he gets set..lets hope he takes more responsiblity while batting away from home . As far as mumbai crowd is concerned , by living in this city , i know people are very passionate here in most of their things..mumbai has a killer attitude as so many tweets came in while the match was going on that 'Mumbai has weathered so many storms as it is a strong city; so it should weather the Gayle storm as well " and thats exactly what happened..its the most energetic, positive and passionate city of India .. so as is ghe case with virat himself sometimes passion goes beyond the line ; i guess thats what happened yesterday
