Is Tendulkar on decline?
by Kolhapur Ratna on Sep 05, 2012 05:00 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest cricketer of all time and he should not retire from cricket till 2020. I request all those who are asking Sachin to quit to get their head checked up soon. Remember in the world of cricket Sachin is the only cricketer who never played for money , name and fame. He has always played for the country without any consideration for individual records.

The same thing happened with Legend Kapil Dev, what was his position? The people who think about sachin's retirement are worried about the damage which is going to happen to his pride and other records you have mentioned below.

Tendulkar should retire
by kunal dash on Sep 05, 2012 04:43 AM  | Hide replies

I guess Tendulkar should retire as well. At 39, he is pretty old by cricketing standards. He has proved to everyone what he is and he deserves a graceful exit from the game. Someone younger should be groomed in his place. The time is ripe to look beyond Tendulkar, Laxman, Dravid and Ganguly. That generation of batsmen will not be easy to replace. So, we must act now

he should play

All government employees retire at the age of 58, judges at the age of 65, politicians never retire... they why should sachin retire? After all he is such a great player, and he should be allowed to play even if he walks with a walking stick....
