Here are some truths for you!!

Has 15 ODI centuries in Eng/Aus/SA,

First Odi Century in AUS came after 20 years,
in CB 2008

Even after 25 years, he does not have a century at Lord's,
mother of all cricket grounds.

Till 2008;

409 Matches, 16385 runs @ 40.01, did'nt even touch 41.00 for 2 decades!

It's only after that flat track 200*, it rose to 44.00.

All average English/ Aussie players have MORE THAN 18 CENTURIES IN Eng/Aus/SA.

All have an Average of 40.00 plus, in 16 year career!!

Gather some facts,

Your ignorance hails him as some "Great",

he's not even an "Average" pro., by any standards

It is clear

No point in extending his career. He has achieved all milestones and even exceeded them. In athetics one has to achieve minimum performance levels to participate in Olympics. Standards are for everyone, forget past records. Had he been in Tennis, his rankings would have slipped in such a way that he would have to participate in Challengers like Courier and Chang realised despite their top rankings earlier. What is the point in playing on - to prove what?

Sachin's technique
by Varadarajan Ravindran on Sep 05, 2012 07:11 AM

Sachin Tendulkar is getting bowled for low scores too often. There has been a technical flaw in his batting for several years. He has a high back-lift and a big bat-and-pad gap. If the flaw is ironed out, he would be able to make big scores even against top-class pace bowlers.

Sachin is indeed strong allrounder, but from 100th century onward he is strugling, making himself confuse,I think now he must take only cricket very seriously otherwise people/media will make him fool,Good luck SACHIN

Infected by bug "Rahul"

Rahul Dravid's retirement was preceded by string of clean bowled dismissals. Sachin too seems to have caught the "Rahul Dravid" bug.

Yes, he is on decline!

The assessment is absolutely correct. Sachin is indeed on the decline. He will not be able to continue playing test cricket after 5 more years from now!

Forced to Decline

Fact is sachin is really on a decline. Its time for him to retire with pride. Already people have started to poke his capability. It will be good if he retires now and serve as an MP.

Rediff's quality has never had any scope to 'decline'.
