I saw the replay of the match, and was shocked to see Pak players playing nicely on the pitch chasing 139 of SLanka. They were at one stage 54-1! Even till the end, they did not lose all wickets!! None of the SLanka bowlers appeared unplayable!!! To me it appeared as if Pak showed that they are really incapable of handling semifinal or final game pressures.
After losing to pakistan Aussies never blamed the pitch, air, food, pollution etc,but accepted it in grace and still remain champions after losing to mediocre pakistanis. Akram's weeping only make pakis look foolish devoid of any grace.Aussies showed champs remain cool in defeat and normal in victory .
I had high regards for Akram.Not now as he is a bad loser.The pitch was same for both the teams and as they boast they had AJMAL, the great and Afridi, Hafeez and the new sensation Raja!! In 20-20 on that day what happens that is important.Afghanistan can beat Australia!lEARN TO ACCEPT DEFEAT.
