the pitches were not good thats true. It is 20-20, not a one day or a test. Srilankans are very cunning to manipulate anything

Stop crying. Both the teams played on the same pitch. This is much better than winning by tampering the ball, which you and your country men had been doing for decades.

my dear playing in your home pitch is always an added advantage by asking the curator to make it to be used by them

It's ok Mr. Akram, Why Sohail Tanvir was sent ahead of Umar Gul?
by ganesh venkatakrishnan on Oct 06, 2012 06:07 AM  | Hide replies

When Umar Gul was in good form and just proved that he is worthy of batting a cameo, why he was sent in the last over? He should have been sent ahead. Don't you think there is something fishy? Think Mr. Akram.

Sohail Tanveer is an all rounder, it is right he didn't click today, but there were days where he play a better cameo than Umar Gul...Hard luck

its sri-lankan treat
by Manoj poojary on Oct 05, 2012 11:44 PM  | Hide replies

sri-lankan always treat opponent with this type of track.but it was an wonderfull display of batting to spin bowling by mahela jaywardane.wasim bhai it was pakistans poor application on thier batting that led to defeat inspite of having 8 batsmens in the team.they surely lacked match practices though having good talent.

A little off the topic but some people should get their language straightened. As per Aesop's fable, "Sour Grapes refers" to the denial of the desirability of something after one has found out that it cannot be reached or acquired:. This is not the case here. what you really mean is "sore looser"

Grapes are Sour!!
by pradeep kumar on Oct 05, 2012 08:20 PM

It is trait of all Pakistanis when any thing goes against them then milk is sour otherwise it is sweet. He should remember it the prevailing condition of pitch every tem is playing be it India England or Pakistan. If he had any complain.being a expert he should complain at the pre super 8 stage. Really Grapes are sour for him and other vetran Paki criketers and million of Paki.

Did you forget the pitches prepared in the middle east matches involving England ,Pakistan and other countries ,where the spinners ran through all the teams . Just SU and accept the defeat .

Wasim, you and your colleagues never complained when Australia got out so cheaply at 117 in the Group 8 stage. Was the pitch quality not bad in that match?
