Our team is out never matter who wins now its srilanka or any other who cares??But still a nice win for Windies last night. And some learnings for teams like Australia who always r in making permutations and combinations who will make into semi finals, finals and whom with they will play. Its a good learning for every team that no one can be underestimated in this versions

Surprised

Am surprised by Akram's comment. If the pitch was bad even getting 100 against the Pak bowling would have been difficult.140 is a decent total to get in T20. U cant get it in a normal one dayer even if the pitch is flat as a tarmac. All praises to Jaywardhane and his bowlers to have restricted Pak .Sri lanka is known for its relatively slow tracs . Akram is still stuck in the IPL thoughts I guess.

Mr Akaram should know that same 22 yds was used by Srilanka also. How they scored 140 runs against so called better bowling unit. He was always a cribber. Should accept defeat gracefully.

Match was for entertainment
by Ashish Kumar on Oct 06, 2012 08:47 AM

"Former Test leg-spinner, Abdul Qadir said that since T20 cricket was played for total entertainment it the duty of the ICC to ensure preparation of sporting pitches."
Since the majority of the spectators were SriLankans and pitch was prepared for their entertainment, why crib?

I understand Windies played on the same pitch and scored 205.
