Mr. Bedi, we are the cricket lovers and believe in performance, past records were enough to keep him in the team for 2 years of below par performance. Please remind me of 2 match winning innings from him in the last 2 years.Can you?

I think u have never watched sachin play at his peak in the 90's .. mayb u were a kid of 2 or 3 years . ppl of my generation know sachin's contribution to Indian Cricket . we have felt it from our hearts. Nobody ever has captured a country's attention like Sachin did in the 90's. Indian cricket's current stature is 80% because of sachin Tendulkar . All your dhonis , yuvrajs , sehwags , gambhirs have grownup watching sachin play and have taken inspiration frm him . SAchin must retire but it should not be forced.

have u ever switched off ur TV when Sehwag or Yuvraj or dhoni got out ? we used to do it when sachin exited . We watch cricket only becoz of sachin. after him , Indian cricket is like a body without a soul.i challenge u ppl to produce another sachin out of ur so called youngsters. lets see.

prakash u btter shut your mouth. gavaskar , bedi & kapil were at their peak in 70s & 80s. many people even Sachin started playing cricket & taking inspiration from them. acc to u , they should never have retired / been thrown out. let us bring them back.

we switch off the T v as long al he is batting which fortunately is not long enough & we are thanful to him for that. we switch on the t v the momment he returns to the pavillion.

Shame that indian media and some vested interests are doing the sachin-bashing for helping some vested interests! Shame Indians are so good in pulling down their own heroes and legends and a player like Sachin comes only once in 500 years,perhaps???Get some reality checks,folks!Ponting is nobody compared to our legend Sachin for the simple reason that Sachin had to face the fiery bowling of aussies and other countries too and still score 100 centuries! while Ponting or Bradman had the privilege and good lcuk of NOT facing the fiery aussie pace attack&fielding for 2 decades and the aussie batsmen had the added luxury of facing poor indian bowlers and fielding and score centuries as they want! Further all the umpires were very kind to all white skinned players and very cruel with Sachin and coloured players and so many times Sachin has been given out wrongly ba bad umpiring decisions too! Hope all world and cricket fans will realize now why Sachin is greater than Bradman and Ponting&Richards&Kallis,etc,etc!

If a player like sachin is born in 500 years than a player like sir kapil dev is born in 2000 years.
There is nothing to shout about Ricky Ponting and only our slavish media and crooked westerners make him Big! what a shame!Shame that indian media and some vested interests are doing the sachin-bashing for helping some vested interests!
