HE did on his own all the victories means no one in the team contributed? Aussies won most matches due to smart bowling than batting. india is the only country did not have proper bowling support when needed
Is a overdose which always reacts. He should have courage and go. We do not think he enjoys being dismissed by a younger bowler. He is anti dote to entertainment now................
The run made to win is what matters & Ponting was way ahead from most contemporary players leave aside Sachin> he would invariably score a big hundred to win the game or save team from collapse.This is one quality where Sachin always had problem where he will leave first

I fully agree, Pointing is a team , country man, committed to game than individual glory- Sachin is opposite - interested only in his career and purse, slow scorer when it WARRANTS big hit , will sacrifice game/ country if it clashes with his milestone

ponting had a great team to support. warne, mcgrath, lee, gillespie, hayden, langer, gilchrist, waugh brothers. tendulkar had only ganguly, kumble, dravid, laxman to support. whenever all big 5 were in peak, team india has done well. so don't blame sachin. learn to respect what he has done.

U mean to say that whatever 10 players Ponting had always topped? The kind of team Tendulkar had if given to Ponting would have made his record evn better.There is no one like Dravid/ Laxman when it comes to saving match but tingu was just usless so better he miserably failed as a captain and as a batsman he's good mostly with dead pitches and weak attack.

And what makes Sachne haters/bashers think that there logic should be appreciated & accepted. The truth is that you can never deny what Sachin has done & what he is capable of. 100 centuries does not come in fluke.

ponting had great team to support man. i remember him making 155 in an ashes test aginst england. he was the 9th wicket to fall. after that still 10 overs were to be played for draw. mcgrath and lee played those 10 overs to achive draw. then the people like you call ponting saved the game. whereas when sachin was out against pakistan in famous 1999 chennai test match, we had 4 wickets in hand and just 17 runs to get. then the people like you will say sachin never won match or saved for india. grow up. one man can not win or lose a match alone. he needs entire team support. which ponting always had. sachin never had that support. learn to respect sachin for whatever he has done..

Rightly said Hiten....its quite habit of sum individuals to critisi Sachin......Every one clevery side line D facts that Sachin has Won d maximum Man of the match & Man of the series in both formate of game........it shows that he single handedly won the maximum matches for his team than any other batsmen in the world.......and as far as world cup is concern till d time he has maximum run & centuries in World cup....if other player does not support him then this is not his fault....

Compare the outcome of a century by Veeru & sachin in last 5 yrs.We have won more than 75% games when he scored a ton.That is what a great winning player is all about.sachin is a great batsman but not a winner

He was a crowd puller & great batsman from 1992-1996.He got into trouble on his appointment as captain & lost that winning touch after that

Hiten.. because australia had a great team.. pointing was hardly getting chance to bat in the 2nd innings of many test matches.. But Sachin allways use to get to bat in 2nd innings.. so that is why sachin has scored more runs than pointing..

that itself proves he had great bowling attack win contributed to his success as captain. regarding scoring runs ultimately you have to see average of batsman and for sachin also mainly in india he just batted once in test matches.

pointing had supportof other batsmen and good pace and spin attack which made him successful. Sachin contribution mainly went winless or in losing cause because he never got support of others and there is no hidden secret about our ineffective bowling attack. if you can take 20 wickets there is no way to win matches. you need to look into these factor before jum[pimg on conclusion. even bradman cannot win matches if his bowlers would not take 20 wickets.

why people cannot see how ineffective point became as captain in later part after warne and mcgrath retired.
