sachin retirement....
by kt vinod on Nov 30, 2012 09:55 AM  | Hide replies

Why sachin have to retire? Most of them saying sachin scored, india will loose... if he not score he have to retire.... If india batting second sachin will not score, so if india batting first, that is not cricket? 75% india cricket loving people switched off their TV sachin got out in the world cup final... see the confidence level to other 10 players... before comment something try to find second level team who can come and deliver consistantly for india... So sad...

Hello,

Presently Ponting is playing much better than Sachin. Still Ponting has declared his retirement. I don't understand why Sachin is not retiring inspite of his poor performance.

Yes,rediff is right.Ponting is much older than Sachin and our MPs have no retirement age.I just feel that Sachin should take a break for some matches and inagurate some flower shops and spas like other MPs and return to game after 1 or 2 months. That will improve his batting form.

Does Sachin's contribution match Cook's and Amla's run
by Prafull Kumar on Nov 30, 2012 08:48 AM

If anyone has closely followed Test Cricket, then can some one come up and dismiss my statement that what Cook's and Amla's contribution over the last few years have done to the team's superb winning streak. And consistently under different condtions.

A great churning going on in international cricket. Many stalwarts have retired and some more at the sunset of their careers. New talent is yet to prove its mettle. Test cricket may lose its pre eminent status gradually.

FIRE INCOMPETANTS WHO EVR IT MAY BE
by Suresh Kumar on Nov 30, 2012 07:46 AM  | Hide replies

Tendulkar is known for his good cricket not being a true Indian. His contribution to India or Indian cricket cannot be discussed in any forum as he has not done anything. If he had thought of Indian Cricket he would had left years back and would be running in cash counter of Tendulkars Restaurant.
In India People remain in position by the hype created by Media because they are good to media. In other country People need to perform cannot hang on to chair forever...

This is sickening
by Sesha on Nov 30, 2012 07:28 AM  | Hide replies

Does the public accept that his performance has dipped significantly even by his own standards and he has grown old. Same thing happened for Rahul and VVS and they gracefully exited. Rick Pinting has retired and Jacques Kallis will also retire. Why such a hullaboo about his retirement alone. There were even great legends like Sunny, Gundappa, Kapil, Vengsarkar who had retired. Indian cricket did not die because of that right. So will the team move on after his retirement. This adulation of a player who has been average at best for the past few years and denial of inevitability by him and his fans is sickening

I totally Agree with sesha and Most importantly, if he's a real Cricketor he should give other young talents to come forward and to join the Indian Brigade. We thanks him for his Unconditional Contribution to the Indian Cricket.
