regarding sachin retirement
by dinesh singh on Nov 29, 2012 04:38 PM  | Hide replies

It is very surprising that everybody is speaking about sachin's retirement not about the performance of the indian team. Before speaking about retirement of Sachin, we should tnink what is the position of the indian team now. After Dravid and Laxman's retirement nobody from young guns like Raina, Kohli, Youvraj till now able to take their place. The answer is no. We are already struggling the replacement of Dravid, Ganguly and Laxman. Pujara's real test begin when he face the bouncy pitch(overseas). I see Indian Test team which is now in a very bad condition, is facing really a very tough time. Our batting which is said to called the comfort zone now looking very shaky and to what to talk about our bowler which is nobody's secret

tendulkar and ponting
by Prathap p on Nov 29, 2012 04:38 PM

What ever good will created by tendulakar through out his life has spoiled by his arrogant behavior. when he was clean balled many times he should have understood his reflexes have gone and retired gracefully as did by Riky ponting. Ponting said no selector told him to retire where as Tendulkar is telling Selector can decide his future. But he did not understad our selectors are more decent than himself that they are not kicking him out

Ricky Ponting
by samba sivan on Nov 29, 2012 04:36 PM

Is Ricky Ponting's announcement of retirement a prelude to Tendulkar's calling it a day? It is apt to recall Dr Sarvapali Radhakrishnan's saying: Politicians and Beauty Queens must retire at the right time. Does it apply to Cricketers too? siva

Really shamefull for Sachin.
by Akash Pandey on Nov 29, 2012 04:34 PM  | Hide replies

Really great decision of Ricky Ponting and his copuntry will proud and salute for this. Our Mr Sachin Gendulkar have been waiting till match will held with Nepal / Srilanka and other weakest country so that Sachin Gendulkar will score there. He has not he will make good score and get rewards form the country. He (Gendulkar) has lost all opportunities of respectfull retirement due to his greedyness. Everyone has advised him but he always told that he does not need any advise of even kapil Dev and Gavaskar Sahab. Now he became a congress player.

he had his time
by veerapuram dharan on Nov 29, 2012 04:14 PM  | Hide replies

sachin could have quit on his own right after winning the WC 2011. he has lost a golden opportunity. if he quits now, there would be a sense of dissatisfaction in the rest of his life. the only way out is, score heavily in the remaining two games, contribute for the team's cause and then quit immediately..am sure he would have shared this with all the team members, so that it could act as a motivation for all..

stilll he can retire gracefully giving some unknown medical reasons for common people like elbow shoulder,or tell medicinal practioner to find some new name for his non performance to get public sympathy and media will organise seminars to explain it,hahaha,
i feel ponting is above SRT in rankings and his single handed efforts to many WC for Aussies and this rceorder statistics shows many failuares as even captain and indias defeats, great,we agree he made us win many matches in younger time, but that doesnot mean he make us defeat double the matches in coming days for so called passion, love for cricket, love for gree for endorsements to buy plot on moon.,love for endorsements.Sachin giving perfect reasons to hide his greediness like politicians, but peopel are fed up with his wrong attitudes towards india defeat, also other many players must be sacked along with him

Saching should now go!! please.... u r sore to the eyes now
by smita menon on Nov 29, 2012 03:46 PM  | Hide replies

its a shame that somebody (Sachin Tendulkar) has been shown the door indirectly so many times. Everytime he get out below 10 (which invariably he does).....he provides fodder to all the TV news & Paper media to cannon him. Wait till he is done with Kolkata test.....people will be booing him more. He has already lost considerable number of fan following already
