Sachin is too young!
by Ramesh Kapoor on Nov 28, 2012 10:54 PM

At 39 years of age one is considered to be peaking a career in one's life. This becomes the foundation for the old age. He needs all those endorsements, plus a billion rupees in BCCI contract and nearly 150,000 rupees per month from the parliament. Who are we to deny him all this?

Ponting and Sachin
by Sameer Bhagwat on Nov 28, 2012 10:02 PM

Both are in the same boat and do not deserve such treatment . Seriously Sachin should have retired after the WC win. That would have been an awesome end to the best cricketer to have walked the planet. Ditto Ponting.

Test Cricket
by JRK PRASAD on Nov 28, 2012 09:06 PM

After Facing defeat in the second test is due to mere inconsistency by the middle order Batsmen. One cannot blame One or two players here. In the 2nd test Openers failed, Middle order failed. Bowlers (Spinners) could not take advantage of the pitch conditions. in 2nd test 2nd innings Team India batsman played as if they were playing their debute matches in the International game. All these factors made them to pay price for it.

Blaming Sachin is Sure because he was inconsistent since 12 innings but, What about the remaining players like Koli, Yuvraj, Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir (Real Inconsistant Player since many macthes) Dhoni himself. Only Players is Pujara who has performed in the Test Series.

Team India is totally relied on openers. If openers don't perform the remaining players will form a que. This we have been observing since Decade. Only Players like Dravid, Laxman, Scahin, Ganguly could save matches during hard times.

Talented Players like Gambhir, Sehwag, Kohli, Yuvaraj should realise that their performance should bring new hopes to team India in both ODI and Test Cricker.

Good ,He is now player number 12 for opposition
by pradeep agarwal on Nov 28, 2012 09:00 PM  | Hide replies

He will not retire till the team India sinks to its lowest. The demoralizing affect of his cheap dismissals in last 12 tests is already showing on youngsters who find his presence on field as baffling as the lovers of game.

Yeah!!! Right.. Now blame the failures of useless cricketers like MS, GG, UV on SRT as well... At least have some respect for the man who has made India the team that it is now.

Sachin was good form in 2010. He made more than 10 centuries in this year and India become No.1. Now Sachin fails India fail. Why not take another responsibility to reach India No.1

ANIL SINGH
Re: Sachin the Great

quite true. indias last successfull series was really in SA against SA. Sachin made century in winning cause and score another to draw last match (both 150 plsu scores) and series was 1-1. after that his he was out out of form and india lost all oversea matches. so before going for his throat look at how much team still depends on him alone
