team's decline is coinciding with his slump in form..there is bound to be noises for his ouster..let him announce the inevitable soon instead of waiting to quit on a high...

Get some education, dude, shame BCCI has not removed aleem dar and tony hill from panel of umpires! is bcci too involved in match fixing???India must learn to respect and treat their legends well¬ pull them down as our enemeis want! See how aussies keep ponting in team despite so many failures!what a shame!BCCI must replace paki umpire aleem dar and britihs umpire tony hill for the kolata and other test macth too since they were playing for the brits with biased decisions in their favour and those decisions made india lose the match too! Whether the umpires received money for their favours is not known, but possible and umpires must lose their match fees if they make wrong decisions or all decisions must be ratifie by a third or fourth umpire in future to avoid match fixing, etc, shame mumabutest macth was fixed since the british team were playing with 13 players, what a shame!
Sachin I have been appreciative of Sachin as a good batsman till about 2-3 years back. I have a few questions and possible answers • Does he need money from Cricket?-Definitely not. He has, I would believe, sufficient for the next few generations in his family. • Is there a requirement for him to break any more records?-I don't think so .He is there right on top. • Does he need any more awards/recognition -He has been given /achieved everything that he deserved • Are his reflexes slow and is he now demonstrating wrong shots and style (for his young fans) against class bowlers?-Definitely Yes to both parts . • What should he do now? --Gracefully exit from Cricket like his yesteryear team mates: Open a Cricket Academy and contribute if he can, in the Rajya Sabha In the same breadth I suggest that the selection committee take a proactive call to usher in promising players (who are waiting) and infuse new blood. Sachin is not indispensable. Murthy

Who are you to decide what he should or should not do.
Stop analyzing another person's career and taking decisions for him.
The so called fans have taken their ownership over Sachin for granted.
Maybe there is another reason Sachin is continuing, it could be a simple reason of stabilizing Indian team with the youngsters and guiding them to take over completely from the seniors. I am sure he will take the right decision considering the perfect behavior and standards he has set for himself on the field over last 23 years.

He will answer with his bat in next test.
