Selection is a specialist job. The selectors were there to do that and they are better persons to do that than any of us.Obviously selection often doesn't depend on runs scored or wickets taken alone.Of course those figures are important but more important is temperament and technique.Those can not be judged merely by watching the score boards.
Not a right choice as no experiments can be made for test matches. good players like manoj Tiwary,badrinath,mukund,uthappa should have been considered taking their current form
