Well deserved win for KKR. Mamata will announce a public holiday for WB soon... She wanted Indian Govt to declare a holiday after the WordCup win in 2011.

Nothing wrong? Public holiday for IPL that is privately managed? Did previous 4 winners did that?

Dear Venkat, Mamta is not going to declare public Holiday and celebrate that day each year just because KKR won...I was just kidding there...all these new have no base and that will never happen. But Kolkata fans are great fan of cricket and passionate about it....It is just heart which is speaking for Mamta maybe.
No wonder whenever, SRK is around there will be controversies. Off-field activities take centre stage than on-field performance. This is where Gautham and Bayliss kept the team together and remained focussed on the game.. We all know Gauthamm he was MSD's deputy in the Indian Cricket team... He doesnt let off-field activities affect his game... this is where KKR was different compared to performance during the previous 4 seasons... Congrats to Gautham, Bayliss and Wasim Akram for giving the cricket fans what they deserve...
GAMBIR IS ANOTHER GEM OF A CRICKETER LIKE DRAVID, KUMBLE, LAXMAN. He deserves the win. He is far above Dhoni, Sehwag, Yuvraj an Harbajan among the senior lot.

Don't talk sh*te mohan,ji, winning IPL nautanki, does not qualify you to be world class Captain... IPL is for little boys... Test / ODI is ... for men :)
SRK's drive, Gauti's leadership, Trevor Bayliss and Wasim Akrams' guidance and most all total commitment on the part of each and every member of the team won them the championship. Long live KKR

well he has a point, but it depends on tourney format, a good example on top of my mind is '92 wc. if i remember correctly, nz topped the table in the SRR format, but of course the top 4 teams went on to play knockouts. and nz lost to pak in that.
your kid won the match for you SRK...it was touching to see how he hold his kid towards him in the final two overs of the match. you are a truely family man SRK.

yes family man who is having an affair with priyanka chopra while wife is at home! yes family man who swears in front of children!
it good to see KKR win, because right from owner, coach, players all were too much invlolved, the way SRK celebrated yesterday, his tense face till the last ball, shows how much he is associated with his team, but if you see other owner, it looks like that they have purchased the team for thier time pass only, most of owners we dont know, yesterday CSK owner were msiing, RCB team owners , Pune team owners and others seems like time pass only. so it is good to see a person win who fight for this win from heart. SRK brough all his family member to the ground which shows how much he loved his team.

Congrats KKR, for the stupnendous fantabulous performance. Its is exciting to see any team rise from bottom to top.No doubt CSK played like champions and Dhonis teams has it in them but the way Gauti and co fought their way up the ladder has only vindicated that'Haar ke jeetne wale ko baazigar kehte hain'.Your team has done it SRK.Glory is yours.
