leaving things for too late; tats how dhoni has always played. his players are following in his footsteps only. and if he does not want things too be left for toll late and top 6 to perform then why have morkel out of top 6. i have no problems with dhoni doing wat he wants to do with chennai super kings, i dont even follow that team but i do have a problem bigtime with his post match comments.

Dhoni is shadow of himself, now he can neither bat but only excel in blocking the bowl and stay at the crease. Delaying and then try to show heroics has been his strategy, but by promoting dumb bowler like Bravo he is only making life of his batsman difficult.

If Dhoni is that good batsman he should open or come one down and finish the game which he cant do as he have to face initial swinging deliveries which he is not cvapabel of he shown that in australia and england in test matches Shutupdhoni

dhoni was MOS in the odi series where we were whitewashed...imagine somebody from the white washed side getting MOS award!
that shows whether or not he can bat in eng and aus in swinging conditions...shutup sunil kashikar...
BTW kashikar, dravid, laxman and sachin have also showed in two series in concession how ''capable batsmen'' they are and became good ocntirbutors in the wonderful whitewash...in australia i think these 3 were send ahead of the other team members to get ''acclimatized''...they did very well i think...shutup kashikar...

Dhoni is struggling with his bat and captainship skills, his nervousness is obvious to all. Even his bowling selection has been atrocious.

he says sachin has not done well in difficult conditions in Test cricket. Nothing can be farther from truth. Sunil Vaidya does not follow cricket properly.
1. 114 at Perth in 1992 when Perth pitch was fastest and bounciest
2. 118 in Birmingham in 1996 when the pitch was so bouncy, next highest score was 18 by Manjrekar
3. 116 at Melbourne in 1999
4. 71 in Perth in 2008
5. 111 in Wanderers in 1993
6. 169 in Centurion in 1996
A few off the top of my head. In fact, Sehwag, Gambhir and Dravid started scoring when pitches around the world became flat from 2002 onwards...in 90s, Sachin was lone warrrior for India in Test cricket abroad. Ponting was a failure in 90s and started scoring heavily only when pitches eased in the 2000s. Had Sachin being a youngster in 2000s like Gambhir or Sehwag and with faster reflexes, he would have scored at least 500 runs in every series.

mainhoondon, when sachin scores the pitch is always at its worst...when other batsmen score the pitch is always flat...

it is indeed magical that whenever sachin is compared to anybody the pitches all over the world magically turn flat...if they play in eng, sa, aus etc. the pitches there become flat...if sachin plays in india then magically the pitches in india become bouncy...
mainhoondon, you have put Rowling to shame by your imagination....:) Her harry potter is nowhere in front of your fiction fantasy...:)

see every player is good that is why they are in Indian team But Sachin is best in world for his consistency. Now if you say he scored only in flat pitches then the same flat pitch was available to all Indian players so why they were not able to score like him.

Sunil what is your age? I think you have not followed cricket played in 70s, 80s and 90s. Don't want to waste my time on you. Just one thing - commentators around the world will call him greatest of batsmen for nothing? Do you know what the warne the greatest leg spinner ever said about Sachin? I think for m0rons like you, IPL is the highest form of cricket and Sauravganguly is the greatest batsman of all times because a few thousand m0rons in Kolkata we partisan in backing him against their own home team.

Mainhoondon, i think i have watched, heard and read more about cricket than you...the earliest test i remember watching was in 1978 when we went to pakistan and kalicharan came with his wi team here...i was 12 years old at that time...
i am one of the very few here who has watched kapil dev play from his first test to his last test...i have watched...viv richards, vishwanath, bedi, prasanna, chandrashekhar, asif iqbal etc...
now you tell me what is YOUR age and how long have YOU been watching cricket...

mainhoondon, i must be one of the very few here who religiously used to hear vijay merchants programme 'cricket with vijay merchant' and talyarkhans ''looking back looking forward''

You forgot 137 against Pak, 155 against Aus in Chennai, 125 against SA Match saving innings I am not remembering all but these bashers will bash for any useless point.

I only pointed his innings in toughest conditions abroad. He has many a great innings in India most notably 155 in chennai against Australia, 136 against pakistan in same ground, 103 not out in same ground against England, 124 against Australia again in chennai.
Ganguly was good player and average captain not a Legend or Excellent Batsman. Scaored 11000 runs in ODI at 70 Strike rate and scored 7000 in tests with 41 average. Laxman have better average than him. 3 century in WC 2003. 1 against Namibia and 2 against Kenya.

Hey Mr., this is not the right place to discuss your agenda. Anyway, what do you want to prove? Dhoni is better that Ganguly?
dhoni is neither fit for limited over games nor can dream to play 5 days test match (as his physical fitness is in great doubt). IPL5 has exposed dhoni's limitation as batsman and also as keeper. what is the total runs he scored in IPL5? what has been the standard of his keeping and captaincy? Why Chennai has been languishing in this IPL even with star players in his team? while KKR has been doing fairly well where Gambhir, being the captain has been leading from the front and became 3rd highest scorer in IPL5 as batsman. In fact, dhoni's days are numbered and Gambhir is certain to be the captain of Indfian cricket team.
