dhoni is neither fit for limited over games nor can dream to play 5 days test match (as his physical fitness is in great doubt). IPL5 has exposed dhoni's limitation as batsman and also as keeper. what is the total runs he scored in IPL5? what has been the standard of his keeping and captaincy? Why Chennai has been languishing in this IPL even with star players in his team? while KKR has been doing fairly well where Gambhir, being the captain has been leading from the front and became 3rd highest scorer in IPL5 as batsman. In fact, dhoni's days are numbered and Gambhir is certain to be the captain of Indfian cricket team.
*MS Dhoni c Rahane b Trivedi 10 16 1 0 62.50 This is dhoni's score. what he contributed to the team. just one boundary and wasted so many balls and jaddu also flop in this match with both bat and ball.
Dhonniii is doing good only all the team players should follow their mission and strive to perform better over each other like they did everytime they won the ipl match. Fielding & batting needs a little improvement..Little more effort can bring a huge sucess for us..finallly its a Great Team... From,,GREAT CSK FAN

I am also CSK fan. but not dhoni's fan.He is not batting well and CSK's innings dies when he comes to crease.
which idiot put the heading that dhoni raps the batsmen for leaving it too late?
dhoni said no such thing...
the person who put that heading hears what dhoni says after the match and like many here interprets what dhoni says in whatever way he wishes...and puts a heading what according to him dhoni means....
Dhoni always blame others for mishaps has habit of doing this right from his beginning of captaincy. during CB series 2007-08 he blame sachin (in directly saying senior should understand bla bla bla)after loosing to aus and win against srilanka bcs of yuvi. but in next match sachin score century and close his mouth

prashant chaudhary, we won that CB series under captaincy of Dhoni and he did that with his team of newcomers. There was nearly no seniors in that team. we had lost the test series with our seniors in the side. but for the odi series there was no dravid, laxman, kumble, ganguly, zaheer etc. even sehwag was available for only a few matches...and what to say about sachin? a massive failure in the league matches...because of his failure we might have not qualified for the best of 3 finals...sachin scored around 190 runs in 8 matches with an average of about 23-24 runs. still we made it to the finals because of batting of dhoni, yuvi, gambhir, rohit sharma etc. and of course our underrated and over abused bowlers ...especially praveen kumar who we can safely say was the one of the most important reasons why we won that CB series....dhoni lead from the front and scored 347 runs in that CB series coming down the order and most of the time in crisis situation and scored at average of nearly 70 runs not getting out for 30 runs in a single match of that odi CB series...
sachin finally posted the 100 in first best of 3 finals and as usual when our fantastic bowlers restricted the aussie team to 239 runs...thats the time when sachin hits his patent centuries 180-240 runs target...for your info sachin has played about 40 odi matches in aus with that solitary century to his name...
dhoni lead indian to win over no. 1 aussie team in their own country and you people only abuse him...

dhoni lead from the front and scored 347 runs in that CB series coming down the order and most of the time in crisis situation and scored at average of nearly 70 runs not getting out for less than 30 runs in a single match of that odi CB series...

after that cb series...dhoni had daring and guts to tell the bcci that because of too much cricket and fatigue he will not play the next test series in SL and will come back to lead for the odis...
there was no dhoni in that test series against lanka where murali and mendis spun out indian team for next to nothing and won the test series 2-1...dravid, sachin, ganguly and even laxman failed...only sehwag and gambhir played well...and sehwag's double century helped us win one of three tests...
very few gave indians any chance in the odi series...dhoni returned refreshed from the break and helped india won the odi series again scoring profusely...we won that odi series with no seniors, no sehwag no sachin...

prashant, just because somebody is senior does not mean he is great...and just because somebody is junior it does not mean he is useless,,,
sachin has scored many centuries nearly 50 each in both formats...but let me tell you most of those have come when conditions were easy...when conditions were difficult in tests we were saved by sehwag, gambhir, dravid and laxman NOT sachin and in odis we were mostly saved by dhoni, yuvraj, gambhir NOT sachin...
sachin has played well under pressure too few times to be called the greatest...
just take a look at his centuries in odis and you will find that they have come if batting first when track was of 350-400 kind and if batting second when target was between 180-240....just take a look at his scores when we had to chase targets between 280-300 plus and you will find he rarely scored big...
thats the truth and if you cant digest that... leave it...

also prashant let me tell you, dhoni has scored more than 6000 odi runs and when dhoni completed his 6000 odi runs he had scored it in 3 innings LESS than sachin...sachin needed 169 innings and dhoni needed 166 innings...also sachin mostly came at the top of the order while dhoni came down the order...sachin in his entire odi career batted only 41 times at no. 5 or lower than that while dhoni so far has batted at no. 1-4 positions only 35 times still he scored MORE runs than sachin while playing LESS innings than him...again if you cant digest that....leave it...

@Prashant: Dhoni is basically a guy who does not take credit. It is only his stupid_fanatics who say we won because of Dhoni.
