Sachin please play only the test cricket and leave aside the ODI's. This will settle the critics.

No Way... The Critics' main job is to crib... :)

If he scores a century and India lose - "His centuries make us lose" "He should retire"

If he scores a century and India win - "He just wants to prove his personal records help the country. What's great about that? He should have scored a zero" "He should retire"

If he doesn't score a century and India lose - "What's the use of 22 years of experience? He should score more and make us win." "He should retire"

If he doesn't score a century and India Win - "We won because Sachin didn't make a century. He should never make a century. He is a selfish player" "He should retire"

If he does what you suggested, then Critics will say - "See? We always knew he would quit from ODIs by himself. But WE need to kick him out from Tests".. :)

Sachin Tendulkar have become everyday news at Rediff.

I hereby requested the manager in Rediff to please make separate section called "Sachin Tendulkar" like sport, movie, news and headline sections.

All Sachin fan and hater can easily start fights in that Sachin Tendulkar sections. Not need to searched for his daily news in headline.

Srikantha is angry me.

What challenging format in Cricket?
by Akash Pandey on Mar 27, 2012 04:40 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin you should take retirement as the age of play cricket is now over for you. This is the worse country of India whose selectors and government has no courage to tell you about the retirement. They (India) lose the cricket match from Bangladesh because of your slow batting but celebrated your 100 century. This is the worse country of India where a player who played cricket morethan 23 years wa nts to play still and said that he will retire himself and don't wants any advised on retirement. You need for forceably retirement.

Akash - its okay even if we lost to Bangladesh we could beat Pakis. chasing 330 runs. I think India can always pull it. Lets give the guy (Sachin) a break afterall scoring 100 centuries dont happen every year!

Pan Dey:

By that definition even Kohli should retire, coz ALL indian fans celebrated his century too whilst India lost the chance to go into finals..

Sachin it is the time.

Look at you of your last ten years cricket - you are very average batsman in the world cricket.
1. you survived because of us indian fans.
2. Advertisement companys want you playing to make money of it.
3. You had external influences to keep you in the team.
Because all this many emerging talented youngters better or equal to you just burried with their dreams.
I tell you the truth you are best in your first 12 years of cricket and rest is history.
you got one more record that you only the cricketer in world survied by influences - it will never happen in other part of world. To remember you with other greats please retire.

It is in last 10 years that he became the first person make 200 in ODI.
he was exceptionally well in 2003 world cup.
He scored really well in 2011 world cup..

and there are so many more great performances by him in the last 10 years.

Few better / best performances against many failures. We indians supported for his records and wealth for last ten years. In last ten see all great retired cricketers in world cricket and sachin is nothing front of them. In total i agree and world agree he is one the greatest cricketer and second best batsman in the world.

Adayan:

What's "many failures"?

Like the failure of Kohli to score rapidly against Bangladesh? :)
