Sachin has stated that it is selfish to retire when at the peak of your game. Now, we all know that Sachin is selfless, dignified, humble and patriotic. Hence, we will keep on playing till he scores 200 centuries or probably till Ajmal Kasab is hanged, whichever is later...

If he can score 200 centuries then why not? Afterall "Perform or Perish" should always prevail.

hehhehe, pseudo, yes sachin usually ''perishes'' he rarely ''performs''..:)
We saw how he ''performed'' 114 in 147 balls...people like you call it performance...knowledgeable people know this is one example where he perished...his century was the main reason why more than 300 could not be put on the board...:)
actually sachin is in the team for ''performing'' in easy conditioins and ''perishing'' in difficult conditions...

:-).. True for Kohli too. Performed against Pak but perished against BD.. ;-)
Comments of such a senior and star cricketer himself does not behove well for a national coach as Sachin is nobody to decide his own placement in the national side he may decide his own course nobody in this world minds but not at the cost of hundreds of other talented cricketers who also harbour ambitions to don the national colours, He is not such an indispensble player anymore to close one slot in the side for other aspirants and may be better than him. He is becoming a ntional shame worldwide than a pride for the nation and toast of the fans, he has chosen to be the former by sticking like irreparable fool, and has made the whole system utterly abominable and helpless and cricket no more the same drawing room favourite sports. Shrikanth , u shud not shed such pretensions. Every good thing has an expiry date so is Sachin's like the highly revered dravids
