Sachin is right.as Virat can be new man for india who has the sheer determination of dravid, excellance of sachin.

when sachin scores he doesn't play according to the game's situation which makes other players take more pressure and get out ( Raina who was blasting at other end against Bangladesh got out because of sachin's slow inngs to get his 100), that is the main reason y you see not many players around the world who are able to get more number of 100s, if you see in sachin's 100 in ODI we have lost 17 times out of his 49 odi 100s which shows 17 times he has not played according to the games situation, if he had played for the team he may have scored only 30 or 32 ODI centuries, which is very normal and that is the main reason why not many players around the world get 100s like sachin. sachin has played well in 5-6 matches under pressure which is too low for a player who has played highest number of ODI i.e nearly 450 ODIs. Also if you see sachin doesn't like to come down the order like 5 or 6 and help the team because if you do so you will not be able to score 100s also you need to mostly play underpressure. Some may say that opening is difficult because you may need to face swing but actually that applies only to TEST cricket, opening inngs in ODI is the most easiest spot becoz of field restrictions for the 1st 20 overs, sachin being clever never opens innings in test cricket he knows well it will be to open innings in TEST but after 20-30 overs it will mostly ease down, so he comes as number 2 in test cricket.

it is also true when Sachin contributed significantly to the teams score, not necessary a century, only the players who finished after coming say at 5th or 6th position hogged limelight say like Dhoni in world cup as well in a two onedayers in Australia while in all matches Gambhir was the main hero interms of contribution and even he told in a press meeting that we should not had waited till 50th over, so we sitting outside can only judge and comment prejudiciously and undermining the fact that it is a team game, everything counts not only batting even fielding as well bowling, not a single person can never be a cause of a defeat...
whenever i feel like what use less people have to say, i see this discussion board to see people commenting on greats like Sachin. And bravo, i am never let down.

18/19 year old youngster .. youngest in team ...his fitness level is 100000 miles above all other team members ...his running betn wickets is 10000 times better than so called youngsters in team ...his bowling still fetch wickets ...his ground fielding still best in world ...best catcher in team ...batting is beyond GOD ..

Till Sachin is able to play better than other players at his place, he should not retire.......Sachin pls keep on, infact any one who is not contributing should be out of the team. It is said when Sachin scored India lost, while the fact is only Sachin scored and other failed.

thats a nice one sachin. indirectly blaming the pressure put on you by everyone for your pathetic batting. and when you do manage to score runs, its all despite the pressure is it?
