Sachin is needed
by S Anand on Mar 22, 2012 11:30 AM  | Hide replies

Since he is a great player and playing for long consistently all the opponents spend their STRATEGIES AGINST TENDULKAR ONLY leaving the others.

thus others MAY get benefit of this .

for 22 years his technique has been focused by thousands of cricket experts to get him out. HE MAY BE THE MOST OBSERVED for 22 years.
He alone is determining to play with less error.

Hats off to such a dedicated person.

And those who are writing about him one question?
HAVE YOU EVER REPRESENTED INDIA OR A SPORT IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE? Or will you ever do it?

Gavaskar, V. Anand, Saina ,P.T.Usha will never say derogatory to this gentle man.

Kohli made 183 in Bangladesh result same india could not make the final...I'm providing new chewing material to the few sick peoples living with severe inferiority complex...

Bingo - You are Spot on. Kohli is gradually becoming a bigger 'Panvati' than SRT. While India loses a match if Sachin Scores a century, In Kohli's case, eventhough we win that match where he scores a century but India is knocked out of the tournament and is not able to make it to the finals.

Sachin, perhaps you should worry about your own batting. If the player is good, he will perform amidst pressure or no pressure. Something that cannot be said of you.

fink fanther: can u ever imagine this fellow playing a knock like the one Sir Viv Richards played against England in Machester where he scored 188 with the help from tailenders...

Its ironic that most of the batting records r held by this guy which does not reflect his true calibre, owing to the tons of runs he has scored on the flat useless pitches of the sub-continent....

Do U know meaning of tail ender. As per ur logic (117 england) kapil and manoj was tail ender, in perth coming at no 4 and got out in form of 6th wicket is playing with tail ender (already scored 100 runs before 6th wkt fall), playing with Azar and got out in 7th is a tail ender (already score 100 as long as Azar was there, point to be noted Azar came after him and raced his century earlier). He never contributed 100 runs partnership with last 3 wkt. Richards made 100 runs partnership with Holding for last wkt where holding contributed only 6 runs. Sachin only know how to grab opportunities. He scores faster in 1st 15 overs where there r only 2 players out of 15 yard circle ad maintain same gap (between runs and ball) with singles and doubles after that. If u closely analyse his game u will find he rarely hit 4 and sixes after 15 over unless get a poor bawler except 2-3 game in 466 game. Now don’t come up with 143 in sharjah and 137 against lanka (96 WC)

Sachin should take rest
by Mahendra on Mar 22, 2012 10:44 AM  | Hide replies

Had the world's best batsman not played in the Asia cup, India would have been in finals...
The selectors might be wondering when this chap will call it a day, as they do not have the guts to ask him to resign.....

so sachin being a big kind hearted fellow (as per his fans) should opt to take rest and play only in matches that demand his much celebrated talents and experience... i.e he should only play ODI's against Eng, SA or Aus and that too on overseas tours...
Leave the matches on home soil to the next generation...
I hope he can at least make this much of a sacrifice, considering that he is a BR hopeful... and BR's put country ahead of their personal milestones...

By what you are saying, Kohli & rohit sharma should retire or be axed as they have not allowed India to play in the final by not getting the runs still faster and enabling a bonus point by playing selfishly when they were going great guns and didnt push for winning within 40 overs. overs 20 - 35 they scored just 75 runs. So sack them and take another player... what a humbuck

had sachin not departed early in that game, we would have lost that one too.....
Atleast our players could return home with a little bit of pride having defeated our arch rivals; courtesy kohli and rohit.
Also kohli and rohit have years of cricket left in them and they r the future unlike sachin who has reached the twilight and has nothing more to contribute...
now u will come up with some other crap, as u r a blind fan....

Q- Why he was not dropped MSD

Srikntha say me that whenever he seen fan walking on the ceilings of his home , it is reminded him for helicopter shots which dhoni will played which he like very much.

Q- why raina was not dropping.

Sriknatha is tell to me that Raina fielded very goodly in all the matches he playing & thus saved many runs.

Q- Why he was not dropped SRT .

Srikantha say to me that becuase of recent losings he think that his days as selector are very small. he knowing that Gundapa replaced him in future. Gundapa is BIL of sunny gavaskar who saying to him to not dropped sachin. therefore he does not wanted spoils relation with sunny.

Against the 3 greatest fast bowlers of his era, whom he faced in more than one Test series, McGrath, Donald and Akram, Sachin has scored 1719 Test runs at a modest average of 34.3 (compared to his career average of 56).

In 76 ODIs where Sachin Played these three Fast bowlers his average is 31.64.He scored only 2 Centuries in these 76 Matches and these two centuries came on Indian Pitches..Against Playing Allan Donald he crossed fifty just 3 times in 26 innings!

In tests Against South Africa when Allan Donald plays his Average is 32.Similarly his Average against Pakistan when Wasim Akram Plays is 32.

Against Australia when Glen Mcgrath Plays his average is just 36.77 wheras in Glen Mcgrath Absence his average against Australia rise to 70. Interestingly Brian Lara Average against Australia when Mcgrath plays is 64.82.

Sachin scored big hundreds in SA when Donald was in Prime and in Australia in 1999 against Mcgrath and Warne. in 1998 against them in India and in 2001 in India.
