It is not because of him. 289 runs you cannot defend against Bangladesh team, means what bowlers were doing?.If the score is around 160, and if Tendulkar played slowly you can blame him. For every blunders team is making, how you can blame him. It is utter non sense

So what according to you was a defendable score? Chasing under lights, our bowling and BDesh playing at home are better reasons than your jaundiced opinion.

In hindsight we can say that to an extent but we must also remember that both Sachin and Virat thought that 270 was par for the course. Once the batmen in the middle decide the par score, it's only fair to criticize their judgment and not the intent.

Bronze Money:

How many balls did Kohli waste for his 66? :)
And then departed instead of playing his "exit tournament finals" BIG hundreds? :)

Mr Silvermani Tell me what was wrong with his batting when he scored centuries against SA and Englan in world cup. against SA we were 269 for 2 in 39 overs and were all out at a score of 296 so just 27 runs in 11 overs. Then against England we made 338 but couldnt defend that total also. I agree he played the inning very slowly but its all because of us fans and haters who put lot of pressure on him. Haters wnted him to retire for not scoring runs and also even if he scores and india loses case remains same. All fans and media wanted him to see him scoring 100th century and made a very big issue out of it. I am sure no one will reach to this landmark but if someone scores 99 century i would like to see how much time wil it take to score the 100th one and how many balls will he take to complete it.
In case of the match against Bangladesh, even if we would have scored 320 we would have lost considering our great bowling attack and at that time you would have said "WHENEVER SACHIN SCORES A CENTURY WE LOSE THE MATCH".

Now a new phenomenon, whenever Kohli scores and chases scores big 100's and makes India win they dont qualify for the final... so kohli pl retire or make way for another player...jinxed... and thanks to our so-called Intelligent Indian fans(who all have scored 100 international centuries...)wow what an attitude idiotic fans/rumor mongers

all sachin bashers are senseless people when they say that Tendulkar can not Single handedly drive the team to the finals / victories.

Look how he took minnows to the Finals singlehandedly .

The greatest indeed

Sorry. It wasn't single handed. Kohli supported him very well in the first half, and Praveen and Irfan ensured the grand finale... :)

You cant be single-handed in cricket...you need both hands to face the wicket holding the bat...
